press the power button for sometime it will say turn off the phone.. tap yes.. the turn off .. thats a soft reset .. a restart in pc language..
2nd method.. remove battery and put it back,, turn on the device

tried that. it turns off yes, i knew that ...
but that did not resolve my PRL update problem. so i took the stylus out, took the back off and hit the reset on the side.

I then could update my PRL and profile.
I think the soft reset does a little more that just turn off the phone....
but what the hell do i know :P

BTW MAN THIS ROM IS SMOKIN!!! I only use the OS for the little stuff like contacts google maps etc....i have 105 ram free, and a little over 290mb of internal space....

i tell ya what...this rom so far has been the greatest. no reboots so far, i have not gone past 55% for the past 3 days, i use clean ram and restart sense if i wat to get back down below 50% but all in all this is by far the fastest and stable rom!

this rom has a little eye candy...

but this thing is not ment to be a primary PC, it's a PDA with phone text and web...
i love the phone but did not like the OS 6.5 and sense 2.5 memory leak some where...
i had to reboot the G/D thing twice a day...forget all that EYE CANDY crap..i now have a fully functioning peice of hardware thanks to this ROM!

I'm not sure if I did something wrong when I flashed or regedit my keyboard layout but I've lost all Shift and FN abilities any input is much appreciated

i read somewhere that there is difference btw the verizon and sprint tp2 keyboards.. i guess there is a cab to fix this..pls search forum

also if that doesn't work you might want to run task 29 before reflashing..

Thanks for the inputs, I have the keyboard cab, I was attempting to be "cool" by changing the string myself. The Verizon provisioning cab conflicts with *228 on this ROM for some reason. I just Task 29'ed and about to flash, thanks again.
