Until now, I've never have bee able to find 0409 MUI's for these. Some I can guess what they do, others I have no idea. What are your thoughts?

Well it doesn't make much sense. That SIP is Chinese.

Re: [Kitchen] WVGA Touch Pro 2 Collaboration

I had asked this question earlier, but then thought I'd found the answer so I deleted my post. Turns out I still need some help. Here's the post I posted in the Sense SDK thread. I figured maybe some of the big ballers here might have an answer...

" I'd like to skin all the HTC green in SenseSDK to a blue. I saw Dwizzy's post here and the .cab and EXT he made using eboelzner's files. These are supposed to be for skinning right? I've tried that .cab but things look the same. I then switched out all the green PNGs for blue ones thinking that maybe I just couldn't tell difference in the green ones, but still nothing changed. I've not tried his EXT yet.

I also have 3 or 4 apps in my ROM that use SenseSDK. Is it possible to skin SenseSDK in apps that have already been cooked into a ROM or does this need to be done by the author of each app?"

Re: [Kitchen] WVGA Touch Pro 2 Collaboration

A quick question if I may,

I'd been running my 6.5.X ROM all week on a page pool of 12. With that I get about 44% memory after soft reset, give or take. 44 would be an average. I'd been running twelve after most people in my thread said that 12 was the ideal number for them.

Yesterday I changed the same ROM to a page pool of 0. With it set at 0 I was starting off with an average of only 33% free memory after boot up.

This blew my mind. I guess I just never paid attention before. I'd been running my personal ROM at 0 for a long time now. One of the post on the first page suggest running it at the "dynamic" 0. Why is that?

These numbers are using MMTaskManager and WM Memory. I didn't check with anything else yet. I know that different apps will give you different readings, but I kind of assume an increase or decrease would probably be the same across the board more or less, just with different starting points.

Why did you guys recommend setting a page pool at 0 when it consumes so much more memory to do so? Am I missing something? Are these readings not really truthfull?

The only time I recommended a dynamic pp was for the Touch Pro. I only use 12. The Touch Pro2 can not handle a dynamic pp for some odd reason.

Sharkie

Are you sure about 44%, and 33% being free memory, and not memory in use, i have about 53% memory in use with 23138, and 21916 after a soft reset with task manager and a 16mb ppl, havent tried 12, but will give it a try and post back.

I'm pretty sure. MMTaskmanager shows free memory on the left. I know that the HTC Taskmanager for use on 6.5 shows memory in use.

You think that 44% free at boot up is high? Wait, you said you had 53% in use so that would leave 47% free. More or less what I'm talking about. Yes, I'm aware that this can change and is not always exactly the same.

Anyway, it's good to know that a "0" PP on a TP2 is officially wrong...

Re: [Kitchen] WVGA Touch Pro 2 Collaboration

I had similar results. I was running 0pp for a while and I would start off with 50-60% free, and within a couple of hours, I would be down to 10-15% free!
I've been sticking with 16Mb and it's pretty solid.
Maybe I'll try lowering it too since I know higher page pool can lower batt life.
