Yesterday I changed the same ROM to a page pool of 0. With it set at 0 I was starting off with an average of only 33% free memory after boot up.
This blew my mind. I guess I just never paid attention before. I'd been running my personal ROM at 0 for a long time now. One of the post on the first page suggest running it at the "dynamic" 0. Why is that?
These numbers are using MMTaskManager and WM Memory. I didn't check with anything else yet. I know that different apps will give you different readings, but I kind of assume an increase or decrease would probably be the same across the board more or less, just with different starting points.
Why did you guys recommend setting a page pool at 0 when it consumes so much more memory to do so? Am I missing something? Are these readings not really truthfull?

The only time I recommended a dynamic pp was for the Touch Pro. I only use 12. The Touch Pro2 can not handle a dynamic pp for some odd reason.
