Hmmm...dont know what to tell you, the file is looks fine, not sure what the problem could be, thats the usual suspect, not removing something from the control file, but you did...

I know i'll be doing the Android jump when Evo drops. Been waiting for Android to mature...and also a top end device to drop on Sprint's end (thought that last one was going to be wishful thinking...but wishes do come true!)

Re: [Kitchen] WVGA Touch Pro 2 Collaboration

As for me, I'll stay with WM for another year - but I'm planning on picking a kitchen and SYS and focusing on building a relatively light RAM-footprint ROM. For the TP2, that means close to 100MB free RAM.

Probably 235xx and groove's (now old) kitchen. I'm probably done chasing the latest drivers & packages - stability and usability will be my keywords.[/QUOTE]

I second that. thats what I've been saying. That's why I only run the 28223. Super stable, smooth as butter, and get 89MB free.

Re: [Kitchen] WVGA Touch Pro 2 Collaboration

to add a new .tsk to the ROM is there any config.txt or rgu's that need to be edited to add them? like when I added wallpapers to the kitchen, I edited a file so the ROM knew they were there.

I am going to be around for at least a year, too. For whatever that's worth...

I'm in the same boat. Had her hold an HD2 at radio shack and she loved it. Evo definitely in our future. She was sold on the camera, LOL She said I could play with it but better not touch one thing on it! I'm really liking my tp2 and don't mind waiting out the whole Droid/WinMo 7 decision.

Re: [Kitchen] WVGA Touch Pro 2 Collaboration

ok back on track. have a couple issues that i need help with sorting out

1. i have two instances of mail setup running, but can not find where they are. when i open CHT, i see it, but can only find one link in the actual ROM

2. how do you remove tabs that are inactive on first boot, but still available if you want to add later?

3. how do you remove office from a sys and put it in the ext?

4. how do you organize the kitchen so that there are separate folders for tweaks, themes etc, so the EXT folder is more organized

5. is there a way to avoid the "security" questions when going to flash a rom? i know what i need to have done to flash, and accept all the risks. i just wanna be able to click into the update RGU and call it good.

Re: [Kitchen] WVGA Touch Pro 2 Collaboration

does seem we have more intermediate chefs here and not so many experts that can point us in the right direction. think there is gonna be a lot of trial and error going forward.

Personally my tweaks folder is organized by inside the tweaks folder having a "package for each tweak" I label the package what the tweak does so that I can enable or disable each time i cook. the package is set up just like any other EXT package. a files folder inside each that contains any files that need to be overwritten and an app.reg to apply any registry tweaks.

I am attaching an app.reg that will show you how to enable and disable each page in manila. 1=enabled 0=disabled.

hope this helps
