I Built 20,30 roms using the kitchen, and today I built a rom and wifi doesnt work, it wont turn on anymore, can any of you guys see anything in the build that would screw up the wifi, wifi router says it can enable wifi, and I cant either via com manager, no matter what I enable, or dissable I cant get it to work, flash Mighty rom wifi works, stock rom wifi works, cmon guys help a mongo out.

Solved

Deleted the kitchen, started over, problem went away.

try uploading the whole build.txt for the guys to look at. you are missing a bunch of it (or the ROM didn't build right).

NO - please don't do that. I'd love to get 23568 going.

But, I realized your 23568 (and yes, you said 'manila') doesn't have Bronze, CHome, Themes, Welcome Center or Widgets included.

So, I'll hold off until I can get a complete build. (I'd personally use only the first 2 of the above)

If I may climb on my soapbox for a minute: with the greatest respect to folks like yourself and welrope, I've never understood releasing multiple versions of a SYS. The beauty of a kitchen is that it takes seconds to select / un-select packages like the ones I mention above. Thank you and welrope very much for all your hard work - please read this as a constructive suggestion.

A suggestion to the community:

For whatever reason Calk chose not to keep Adobe packages in SYS, although there are changes with each SYS version.

Is there a valid reason to continue to do that? Why not keep the following in SYS where MS thinks they belong? (Groove's kitchen does it that way)
- Shared\0409\AdobeFlash_Lang_0409
- Shared\Common\AdobeFlash
- Shared\Common\AdobeFlashCodecs

well, if welrope didn't do it, then we would have to add office 2010 to every sys that we download for one....

Sorry, apparently I wasn't clear - I didn't mention Office. I'm talking about manila, stripped and full versions (each of which have Office).
