HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila\Home\XX, with XX being the position that the shortcut is in. Change the icon path to whatever png that you want.

call me a noob, but where do you put teh folders? mainly, there is no rom folder.....

ok, on to the less nooby question. i would like to cook in the version of manila/sense or watever, used int eh max sense rom (i appologize for not knowing the proper terminoligy) the one where you can move widgets and customize how it looks and what not.

I assume that it is the latest version, but most everyone seems to be using an older version.

As far as MaxSense, you have to ask Maxycy for the files, and from what I read in Sharkie's thread, he's not been active lately.

As for your first question, are you running the kitchen from a dump, or the one on the first page of this thread? Or are you trying to add something (maybe a new build) to your existing kitchen?

On a side note, does anyone have a good link to the Cellular South TP2 rom? The one over at MU was dead.

-so he is the only one that has it? how come it hasent been shared among anyone else. i assume its not possible to extract it from the rom somehow.
guess ill google it, its the only version of sense that i really care to use.

i extracted the SYS_update_042110 rather than Icey_VK_SYS_041710


edit: apparently that was it. this time i extracted Icey_VK_SYS_041710, then extracted SYS_update_042110 over it and just replaced what files it found to be the same. seems to be working now.

is this the correct method?

A bit of advice from one noob to another... relax. It's hard to even make out what exactly it is you're asking. I guess you've got it figured out now, again it's hard to tell. Were you trying to extract a ROM or build a ROM? You've said things that are confusing and so it seems like you're talking about doing both.
