Is there a different trick to moving or getting rid of SYS icons all together? Do I need to make that afore mentioned edit into a different format like initflashfiles, or RGU or something else that will work in a SYS?

And one more time, just so it doesn't get overlooked as this issue is killing me...

On a seprate note, My 2nd theory on my dialer issues (the cprog.exe theory was a bust) is that it's is my volume package (Volume Control 2.2.2012.1229.00). Anyone ever had any issues with the dialer when using this package?

I've compared the volume directory and my phone canvas directory and can't find any reason as to why the volume package is messing with the dialer. I've done numerous test all night and I'm 99% sure it's the volume package.

What volume control is everyone else using?

I'm using Volume_Control_2_2_20173021_00. I'm having no issues on my COM3 build. I've been running it for about a week.

On the Messenger issue. You might need to check provxml's. There might be a provxml that moving it.

Can you post that volume package? I've not tried 2017, only 2012 and 2014.

Nevermind, well I'd still like the package, but unfortunately I just discovered it's not the volume. I just flashed another ROM and the slide to answer got stuck again and I don't have any volum package cooking in.

And try not building with the Cprog.exe EXT built in too.

Have other people had success building these in with newer sense packages? I was under the impression that PhoneCanvas 3.5+ was needed for various reasons (such as using Manila 2012+). That being the reason why it was put in our OEM folder for us.

There are several in there you might want to double check.

I knew those were in there, but haven't seen any issues in programs that have that message. I don't really understand those error messages, though. Why is it unable to right those keys?

I also was using a phone canvas 3.5+ before and only switched to this one to see if the dialer was the issue. Since the issue remains I've left this dialer in for the time being as I've grown to like it.

I'm not finding and duplicate files... Have to go to work, but I'll plug away at it some more when I get home tonight. Thanks for you help guys! I really appreciate it!

oh okay (about the phonecanvas).
Well, I have the time to reply now, so good luck with this later on tonight. And, btw, these are just some observations because I can't pinpoint whats going on either.
-Note: Module duplicate Warning comes before the package and the parsing errors and overwrites come after the package is listed

-OEMDrivers has an sms_providers.dll that always overwrites the one in the SYS (I delete the one in the SYS)

- I turned HomeService.dll into a module cause that's how it is originally in Sense anyway.

After writing all this... I noticed that you may not be using a few of the newer HTC OEMs. I've found them more solid for 2016.
