That reg entry gets reset every reboot when it conects to the network. That's why you can't cook it in with the reg edit itself. Personalizer runs at every start up and automatically changes that reg entry for you.

Got my customer operator name cooking in via Personalizer now! Woohoo!! I also just learned a ton about mortscript! Thanks again Dwizzy for pointing me in the right direction!

Fixed my VK!
The issue was actually a broken Manila Engine 2.5.2012 EXT. Now I'm having successful build after build.
I've had quite a bit of errors Recmod'ing individual files with the button "module to file." It seems to produce bad .dll's. Any suggestions??

The only way I know to change that entry and make it stick is thru QPST. The down side is that it is a VERY powerfull tool and can screw up your device if you dont know what you are doing. I never tried it on my TP2 but in the TP days it was the tool I used to read the nv values on my device so I could unlock the gps on Verizon's TP.

I've beent trying to use Skin- Menu Enhancement- Blue, but it's not cooking in. I've downloaded several instances of the file and none of them seem to work. I'm using Menu_Enhancement 1.1.2011.3129.00. Is the Blue enhancement made for an older or newer menu enhancement package? Anyone else ever have problems with this?

Actually to be more specific, they work on all menus, but the ones in Sense, e.g. the tab menus. Is there a different skin needed for those menus?

Has anyone been able to get the caller id to show, and scroll bar removed from the verizon large pad dialer for 2166x .

If so would you please share how, or the files that fix it!
