Still running the old CHT 1.7.1 ROMs (forgot what date).

Tempted to update but one Question: Is the new CHT 1.8.5 Zone ROM suffering from the same slowdowns as some of the other latest 1.8.5 ROMS or is it just about the same as 1.7.1?

Very sorry to bump but I was wondering if anyone could comment on the speed of CHT 1.8.5 compared to previous verions (ie. like 1.7.1). I read on some other threads that people were experiencing some slowdowns with the new version.

I cannot answer this question as I'm not using the device. I didn't want you to think I was avoiding you.

Im not noticing any difference at all between the old and new Cookie.

Im not noticing any difference at all between the old and new Cookie.
NRG talks about it a little and has created a cab 2 speed it up...but i have not used this cab so i cant tell u about any benefits...good luck

Caller ID issues would pertain to only 24314 builds the other builds should already be patched and working. I would like for another user to verify the issue before I pull the ROM. Thanks guys and hope it hasn't caused any inconvenience.

tested 23569 / MMS /June 19 / Co0kie 1.8.5 and it solved the problem. Thanks Zone!!!

I do not password protect my ROMs they are free to use..

Why is it asking for on initially when trying to install. it says for me to look "Enter password for the encrypted file: RUUresource.dll file" ? I'll download again. I dl'd the Lead Rom 2.6.09.10 file.
