i cant believe sprint didnt get htc messaging working for mms so they went the arcsoft route, and leave to sprint to ship an outdated ms myphone that prompts for upgrade on first use

Can't find the setting to turn on cleartype for landscape so here is the registry edit

To enable ClearType in Landscape mode:
HKLM\System\GDI\ClearTypeSettings\OffOnRotation = 0 (DWORD decimal)
To disable:
HKLM\System\GDI\ClearTypeSettings\OffOnRotation = 1 (DWORD decimal)

Here are the CMkillers

ok,

finiished it up..

well. you must do the task bar cab.. it also does the x to close.. i also did the clock flip die cab..

works fine for me.. wondering about battery life now.. but i have been playing with it a lot.

wmwifirouter is doing it job well.. seems as the gps lag is about the same..

i dont know how it compares to to a custom rom.. but i might play with one soon..

bitches. well you really have to add the task manager cab..

the people bitching about this rom loaded it.. used it with lots of stuff running, not knowing..

beers

Re: Official Sprint 6.5 ROM Touch Pro 2 RELEASE (Official Discussion Thread)

All I can say is that after running this ROM all day it remained quick and responsive, battery life was really good, and after installing all my cabs and reg edits, stands up to any other ROM I've run in the past, minus all the fluff and eye candy. I really can't wait for our chefs to do their thing and make it even better. It doesn't blow my mind but it has definite potential

Guys so I just did the install on my Touch Pro 2 and the music player freezes every time I play a song from my memory card. I loaded a song onto the onboard memory and the song plays fine and nothing freezes.

What can be causing this problem ?

HouMing's file explorer extension does not work on this rom. Too bad because that's one ofthe first cabs I install.

I shored how to unhide it just one page after his post but here is how to unhide it once more..

" I was reading the whole thread... Here is how to unhide it  Feel free to thank me lol! I had to look thru like 50 pages.

Under HKLM/ControlPanel/Owner, change the hide from 1 to 0, reboot and good to go.

One question though.....

My text messages are not showing up right. For example: In a conversation with me and the same person, the entire conversation is seperated. All of their responses are grouped to gether and all of my responses are grouped together. Any fix for this?
Hard to explain I guess...

For example the conversation shows up like:
My text
My text
My text
Their text
Their text
Their text

instead of:
My text
Their text
My text
Their text

Make sense? In other words, it makes the conversation extremely hard to follow. Can some please give me a fix for this because it annoys the crap out of me

This only occurs for me if I restore messages from PIM Backup program.
Actually it happens if I restore any threaded message backup that had picmail.
I would suggest delete whole threaded message within native MS app.

Not really sure what your post is getting at, perhaps your yeast infection has spread to your brain. You were given the fix. If you read through the thread (or searched) you would see that it's been reported that on the custom roms the chef's already put that regedit into them or else you wouldn't see it there either. Also people have said that putting your information in the "my contact" card takes the place of the owner info as far as registering apps that need that info in them.

OK, so now that everyone has installed their upgrades, what has truly been the general consensus? I'm still new to the TP2 and have been running stock since I got it 2 months ago. I have it DL'd and a few CABs that have been listed in this thread but haven't installed anything yet. What's the real point in upgrading? Other than being able to say I have the latest. Many people have been running cooked ROMs for months now so that's not really a big deal.

the regedit to make the phone wake by pressing any key is no longer working for me. The regedit sticks after soft reset. Weird.
HKLM\HARDWARE\OEM\KEYBD\KeyLock = "0"

EDIT:
Got it working. Installed Rhodium Keyboard Controller with SD Certs. Started working right away without any keyboard mapping in the program.

I am surprised nobody posted the fix for inability to turn vibration response to dialer key press. Does everyone likes their phone to shiver after each touch like a girl on a first date ever?
Also I would guess the Task Manager should also be a RegEdit fix, although the smaller cab works fine too.
Which Reg Editors work well with 6.5?

windows live is included with the rom. just tap windows live and setup your email as usual (username and password, follow the prompts). I like windows live is in the start menu by itself but may be in one of the folders. good luck.

Not needed on this ROM.

Go to the Contacts tab>all people>Me.
enter your name in the contact card. This replaces Owner information.

I think Sprint did a nice job, and for someone who wants to stay on stock Sprint ROMs, it's a great update.

However, I just miss the 6.5.x finger-friendliness too much to stay with this. So, I'll be moving to Calk's next kitchen once he gets the new Sprint stuff incorporated.

So I'm tryna organize my start menu, but I always end up with HTC_People, HTC_Music, and HTC_Calender back on my start menu after I move them or delete them..?? And It wouldnt bother me that bad but now it's not the icons anymore, just plain white folders that do not look good at all lol... Anyone else have this problem, and found a solution for it..??

EDIT: It only does it while im running Manila, if I switch to Titanium and goto the Start Menu they're gone...
