V15 did have the wallpaper issue. I couldn't change the wallpaper in that one either.

Try the attached threaded email fix, and see if it works for IMAP and POP3. This fix does not work for exchange.

Make sure there is no tmail.exe running, close with df_taskmgr, then install the cab. Then Soft Reset.

Also, someone asked me about codes dont work for dialer. You need to install provisioning first, and then try the codes.

Hi Chef,
I have tried your ROM and must admit it has very nice. However, I was wondering if your have got any feedback on ArkSwitch Software freezing up the device?
Please let know if there is a particular version that will work best with your latest release?

V16 is running great for me.im not even having the wallpaper issue because when i imported my settings for CHT from CHT Editor it also imported the wallpaper i was using before and thats the same wallpaper i want now.so if the wallpaper u want is saved on CHT Editor just import those settings.I know that only gives u the one wallpaper but ive been using the same wallpaper for months, and a similiar CHT setup.

Please disregard that, cause I think it was a bad flash. Everything is working well.

like ai said,redownload the rom.run task 29 first,i would use the task 29 thats included in Bhars V16 rom zip.then flash the rom using whichever method you prefer,usb cable(activesync),or sd-card.and last perform a hard-reset.thats it.
I prefer to use the sd-card flashing method simply because then if i dont like the new rom i can simply swap out the sd-card and flash back to whatever rom i do like,but everyone has their own preference and both methods work fine.
Im positive it has to be a bad download because no one else has had the issue yet,and ive flashed V16 twice.However i did use the sd-card method both times.and be sure to run task 29 first because V16 has a new OS.I prefer to run task 29 instead of a flashdance,flashing back to stock,and then flash the new rom.Flashing back to the stock rom has always been an issue.Some chefs and rom flashers swear by it, but now that task 29 is a readily available option i think its better choice over a flashdance,flashing back the stock rom before u flash a new rom.The stock rom is still a rom with an OS,i prefer task 29 because it totally wipes the device of everything,any old files or anything from the previous rom or OS that could cause problems with the newly flashed rom and AI includes a functioning task 29 in the V16 rom zip which im thankful for because neither of the task 29s that are stickied in ppcgeeks functioned correctly for me,but AI's task 29 included in V16 worked great for me. So AI has really thought of everything for V16.V16 is a great rom with excellent user support.Thanks alot AI,again.

Wallpaper Fix

Install cab below, and restart manila. This should fix the wallpaper issue for both CHT and BLK version.

Do let me know if you tried it, and it worked.

This should work for V15 as well, and possibly V14.

It works just fine for me. What size is your SD card?

You can try backing up data, and then format it FAT32, then transfer data, and see if it helps.

Cab is included in ROM, available under utilities, tweaks, tweaks. No reg fix needed though.

Good morning, I just flashed back to your V16 CHT ROM to verify that the threaded email and cht wallpaper fixes did fix the issues. I am happy to report that both have successfully resolved both issues with no errors noted as of yet. Thanks for working on the issue and getting both items resolved successfully as I knew that you would. Did you ever get around to cabbing up the taskbar that you are using on the current V16 CHT ROM? Thanks again so much for all that you have done and will do in the future and I have thanked your post as well...

Did you guys have any battery drainage issues after initial flash..?? I usually do everytime but I watched my batter percentage drain 1% every minute it went from 100 to 80 in less than 20 minutes of use... Seems a bit hefty, just seein if it eventually levels out...

I keep getting this error message popping up, it says Data Call Failure - Error Code : 67 blabla Registration error, etc etc... I remember my TP1 used to do this sometimes but I forget how I fixed it...

Edit: updated profile, prl, an fw and seems to done the job..

Ok so I updated my IOTA with Mr. X's Sprint Profile, PRL, and FW.cab and that seemed to fix the data error... But I just noticed another one, when I'm viewing my pictures tab and rotate my phone to landscape the images and screen gets all messed up.. Almost as if I'm flipping it upside down..?? I reset the g-sensor settings an calibrated it, and still does it...??

It will be the same thing for music tab as well. As far as I know 2016 does not have coverflow, unless there is more mods added to it.

To enable coverflow you need to disable manila landscape by changing the following registry.

Strange! I dont get that message at all. I do not even provision mine anymore...

Did you install the sprint prov cab that came with the ROM?

Yes, i did install it. It happens at random times.. normally after i make a phone call.

Ok it is looking for a data connection. But it is disconnected during phone call, and when it resumes it, there is a lag, hence the message.

If you can live with no automatic updates, then disable them.

Something strange happened today. My data wasn't working so I soft reset my phone.. then all of a sudden a screen popped up that said hands free activation and got an error message that my phone couldn't be activated. I ignored it, and my data still wasn't working so i soft reset my phone again and the exact same thing happened.

I left my phone alone for a few hours, and data started working again. Then, my phone would randomly go into airplane mode for a second and back to normal mode. This happened during a phone call too. I don't know if it's sprint or the ROM because the same thing is happening to my mom's phone. She's on v15

Ive run every CDMA rom Bhars has released since their beta releases and i have used both V15 and V16 and never had any issue like that ever on V15 or V16 or even the old beta builds.I run my Touch Pro 2 on the Cricket Mobile Network and have never experienced any problems like that.So it must be sprints service because my friends blackberry curve that is on sprint has been having issues with data and gps for the past 2 days.Sometimes it works and some times it doesnt.His Sprint BB Curve has also been randomly losing its EVDO,3G,connection at times and then it will turn back on on its own sometimes or a soft reset fixes the problem for temporarily.He took his BB Curve to sprint and the sprint salesman said that the new 4G data usage is now slowing down the devices that are 3G???Sprint doesnt even have or offer 4G in Omaha, NE yet,but u still have to pay the extra $10 a month tho.none of what the sprint rep said made any sense and he said my friends BB Curve tested out just fine by the sprint techs so it must be something he was doing wrong,so he opened pandora radio right in front of the sprint rep and it took about 5 minutes to open pandora and then wouldnt go to any stations or songs he saved on pandora and then the device just froze.So the Sprint rep took the phone back to the techs and then came back again and said that the phone was fine and that the service would be back up in a cpl hours.and of course it still isnt functioning yet.
I think alot of sprint salesman used to be used car salesman but couldnt handle it and alot of sprint techs get their training thru pop-up picture books that just doesnt make sense to me at all.

I have been using this rom since about v6 or so... and I'm pretty sure it's sprint because a lot of my friends with sprint are having issues with data. Wonder what's up

Is detroit scheduled to get 4G? If so that will explain...where i live there is no 4G in the near future...lol
