Yea your carrier cab doesnt work very well. I think I use ryans cab, but it doesnt want to install in my ROM. Here is the icon cab for you. Let me know if you run into any issues with it.

I think this new version of manila a bit slower than the previous one! Any thoughts?

I really havent noticed that V6 is any slower than V5. They seem about the same to me, but i do like some things from both roms. Both V5 and V6 are excellent roms so i think that its basically up to the user which rom they like better. Im gonna stick with V6 for now. The only problem i had with V6 so far is that Microsoft Marketplace for Mobile quit working and i would always get an error msg when i tried to open Marketplace so instead of a hard-reset i just installed a Marketplace bootstrap cab i have and then just deleted the new Marketplace icon from the start menu and now it works perfect and reliably. I thnk that it was just a fluke that it quit working tho because it worked great from the day i flashed V6 and it worked yesterday. I didnt feel like setting up my phone again thats why i just installed the cab.
Im not worried about the provisioning for Cricket. Id really like it if it did function correctly but as long as the rom is compatible with Cricket i dont mind configuring my device manually.
Thanks for the new folder icons. Ill let u know what i think about em later. Thanks for cabbing them up. I think V6 is another great rom release and i cant wait for the next release,update, or upgrade. U should think about putting the cabs u posted that i ask for on the first page of the rom thread in what i think is ur 3rd post. That way if anyone wants to use the HTC GPS Tool cab u created, or the new folder icons cab u just posted. That way everyone knows where to find the cabs. I like em, maybe others will to.

Hi, nube here - but having fun learning and flashing. Rom seems fast and complete so far.

Question, any way to get the "Call History" on home screen? I have noticed that you can change that and other things with Cookie Editor on other roms. Any way to get that on this rom? Thanks for any help.

Install co0kie tab, that 1.7 version that came out yesterday looks promising. I havent tried it yet, but I am sure it will be compatabile with V6.

Im downloading both V7 and the new GTX version released. Ill flash the GTX version 1st and see what i think and compare it to previous releases. Then if i dont like it more than im gona flash V7 because i think that it sounds great, especially with the inclusion of the HTC GPS Tool. Ill probably just give the GTX version a test because u dont plan on offering much support for it yet and now u offer alot of support and upgrades for ur current roms.
By the way the new start menu alluminum folder icons are great. they definetly give it a good look and also a different look now if u want one.
Is the released GTX version as stable and fast as V7 is or is it still in its early stages and too soon to tell yet. Also is the released GTX version 1.7 newer or more recent than the GTX.7 beta rom link i got from u to test. Id like to test the most recent GTX version that u cooked. Is the .7beta GTX a newer,not yet released GTX version? Thanks alot for the new updates.
Until i hav a little more time im just going to flash V7 for now and give one of the GTX versions a test tonight and tomorrow. I want to know which GTX version is the latest GTX version before i flash one. Is the GTX link u gave me a link to a newer beta GTX release or is the already released GTX 1.7 the newer release. The pics of ur GTX release look great and are close to the anticipated MaxSense rom kind of. Not that im comparing the 2, but ur GTX version does look very custom. Also its kinda nice u didnt anounce the GTX rom and then make everybody wait for even a beta test.
Please let me know which GTX version that i have downloaded is ur most recent work so i can give it a test. I juat need to know if ur released GTX1.7 rom is a newer release than the link u gave me for the GTX.7 beta rom i downloaded today along with both other releases. @lbcary: GTX is not my work. Ofcourse I spend a lot of time modifying cosmetically to fit my needs, I didnt do anything to it other than using the authors original pkg.

So it is what is. I had been using that for about couple of days, and seems ok. Sometimes, there were gliches, but then a SR will do it.

I am tired of GTX now, so running my V7 with co0kie mod...;)

GTX will hopefully hold me over until that MaxSense comes out. I like it so far, but if it is a little buggy as you say, may drive me back to normal V7

Quick question, is there a button/area of the screen to access the TaskManager or do you need to open the program manually?

PS.

Is the mail button menu your work or his? (being able to delete/reply/forward/new message, etc all from the Menu button on the mail tab). I lovvve that!

Run MMTskMgr from start>tools first, then under settings, ensure that load on startup is checked. After that everytime you click on the top left corner should bring up the tskmgr. Its still a bit buggy!

Are you talking about Manila Mail tab? If it is, it is HTC work!:)

Hope SMS works fine when opening and replying...I modified a skin I found to fit the ROM.

Found a huge bug for me at least. My company requires a pin for locking for security reasons. I reset my phone and now I can't unlock it. The unlocker won't do anything, it just sits there with my pin in.

I think it is the GTX lockscreen. Hang on, just dont lock the phone, and I will give you a fix in a min...

EDIT: I dont think there is a fix for this! It is the issue with the Mini lockscreen. Try changing below reg, if you can even get in. If not just use V7 regular.

What happened to the Slide to Unlock screen?????????? I downloaded the new version, set a pin, and now instead of asking me to slide to unlock, it just shows a big number pad where i enter my pin

PIN does not work with GTX Version as it has HD Mini Lockscreen, and it is not compatible with our TP2.](*,)

I suggest you flash to V7 regular, or wait till tomorrow for a non HD mini lock screen version.

Forgot a pkg when cooking for this version! Install attached cab, and soft reset. It should fix the PIN issue.](*,)

You can try the attached cab as well. But I dont think it will solve the pin issue in GTX version.

Yes...ROM default is 10% battery. So it wont drop % quite often. So looks like v7 battery life is good!?

Saw ya added Opera 10 (vedi nice) and it appears to be the Beta version. Not sure of the difference or if there are any license issues with official releases, but in case ya didn't know, Opera 10 is now in official release... FTP for it is here - Also attached .cab for anybody that wants it.

the Opera 10 B3 repack cab that comes with v7 i think is better than the official release from Opera. Its not just the regular Opera 10 B3 cab, it has been gone thru. Ive tried both the Ninjaduck Opera 10 B3 repack with updated flashplayer, that comes in V7, and the official Opera 10 final release and there really isnt much of a difference. Some people even like the opera 10 B3 repack with flashplayer better thanthe Opera 10 final version. I like both.
I just gave the GTX rom a spin and it looks pretty good and was very stable and quick. I like the new look. Its definetly a nice change from the usual. U say u dont plan to offer support for the GTX version. I think that the GTX version is nice enough not to just scrap. For an initial release its absolutely excellent and if it follows the path of ur other rom than it will only get better and more customized.
I was playing with a UI called Androkkid and realised that if someone was to spend some time it could be a very nice looking interface. Also the TouchOne alpha UI,i think its calld that,also shows some promise. I dont know if u would be interested in making some serious mods to one of ur roms but i think that if anybody could customize and combine the Androkkid UI and Sense 2.5 together would have a very unique, one of a kind rom thats user customizable,and could maybe rival the ever anticipated Maxsense rom. And the best thing is Androkkid is freeware so playing with it and modding it wont cost any money for a Reg key. Im just naming random ideas now. I dont actually expecta arom release with Androkkid, but im just saying that if Androkkid was customized and modified right that it could look like a very custom,unique UI. One that no one has ever seen. People have modded the hell out of the SPB Mobile Shell and thats not even free. So i think that maybe if someone took the time and customized Androkkid mixed with a customized Sense 2.5 that u could end up with a good rom with some added benefits and a totally new look. Just a thought.
I tried the GTX rom and everything seemed to function just as good as the other rom and the taskbar and UI look good. But i still like the look of V7 with Maxmanila and lots of custom cabs. V7 so far seems to be a rock just like the other roms to date. I love the inclusion of the HTC GPS Tool. Great release with V7.
Also ive been testing this new app called XT Hack Beta 2 with V6 and now V7 and so far its been working well and if it doesnt break my phone i think it has alot of potential and most the options lost when HDTweaks and Adv Config were removed from the rom. Im definetly glad theyre both gone but if XT Hack B2 can give us back some of those options without breaking our devices than its worth it.

I understand now why ur not offering as much support for the GTX rom. I ended up flashing to V7 anyway. V7 seems great. I really like the inclusion of the HTC GPS Tool. Now the rom has he best support for GPS that ive seen come with any rom, except NRGs roms have a very similiar GPS folder.It might even be the same. Definetly excellent work. I can get a very solid GPS lock within mere seconds that stays strong and even works in my basement at my house.Which is a place almost every GPS system cuts out. Even my Garmin GPS system wont work in my basement. Keep upith aqll the great new releases. As long as u keep releasing them ill keep flashing them. Excellent rom. Thanks for sharing.

I think that is there because I included Opera10. I will look to see if I can release a patch for this soon.

Thanks for opera 10 final. I dont see a big difference between both. For now B3 seems stable and fast. So might stick with it for a while.

I was thinking of releasing a WM7 version with throttlelauncher. I havent played with it much yet, but seems promising. Will see if I can release a special edition of that.

I will play with XT Hack too, and see if I want to include it.

All in all, if there is a good base ROM, users can install what they want, and mod it how they want. That has been my policy for a while...

I dont think Manila Home Screen Wallpaper will change in the GTX version. Read through the thread to see if it will work. But I think I read somewhere that it will not work.
