Use total commander for zip files. Actually use that for everything...there is nothing total commander cant do, that file explorer does. File explorer just sucks!

Maybe the mods I have for file explorer makes it not handle zip files? I dont know...I will look into it. But not in my priority list...

I think I made a mistake. I clicked on EnterBootLoader last night on the phone. It showed me the colourful bars. I couldn't get out of that screen no matter what I tried. I pulled the battery. It wouldn't turn on for a while and I pulled the battery about 2 more times. Finally it came on.

This morning I went to check my email but it doesn't connect to the internet. Data Connection is turned off under settings and every time I click on it to activate it, I get taken to another screen "Select which networks are automatically used".

I tried RomUtilityUpdate on the computer but when it verifies it tells me "Error [224]: Device not responding". I've tried pulling the battery, ActiveSync on the PC says connected, on the handset ActiveSync isn't connected.

I was wondering if anyone has any ideas.

Hello.. I'm using v14 of the ROM and i love it. I have a problem with solitare because the application is not saving the scores and every time I start the game i have the same cards position (the same game). Can someone attach exe file or write me how can I solve my problem with saving the scores

Good morning all, ai6908 great ROM is all I can say. Been on it now for 2 weeks and having no issues at all. I wanted to ask do you have a cab file for the taskbar that you are using with the latest cookie ROM. Finally having the 3G icon on a custom ROM has been something that I have always wanted but seems as though it never happens for the cdma ROM and I love the look of the one you are using. Thanks for all that you do and keep doing these great ROMS. Any plans to add threaded email back into the ROM? That is about all I miss from some other ROMS that I have tried and used in the past.

CDMA devices use EVDO,which is the cdma version of 3G. Only GSM band devices come with the 3G icon by default standard. Im pretty sure 3G only means 3rd Generation. EVDO is just the CDMA 3rd generation,3G.Im sure AI will cab up the original taskbar from V?-V14.Hes cabd alot of things for me in the past.AI offers probably the best user support of any rom chef.Im sure when he has time he will cab the taskbar for u.Id like to have the taskbars from the older V?-V14 and the V15 taskbar in a cab as well because they are both great looking taskbars with full functionality, and like u said if u want the 3G icon on a cdma device then his task bar is a great looking choice.If he cabs them up i will save them on my micro sd-card for later use.but ive got all AIs cabs since Bhars rom was in its beta stages and all are great working cabs.

oh, didnt know verizon used the 3G icon.thanks for the info,good to know.dont want to be wrong.ive never had verizon service,only a new pre-flashd verizon moto q that came the EV icon but i bought it pre flashed originally and im sure the Ev icon came that way because of the pre-flash but didnt know.i thought only the gsm devices came with the 3G icon default stock.if my device came with the 3G icon originally id want it also.im sure ai can cab it for u.thanks for the bit of info.u learn something new everyday.

AI your right after using total commander for a day or so and after installing,uninstalling,reinstalling a few zip and cab files, total commander is way better,can do anything u need it to,and can be configured any way u want it to be so finding files is still very easy,and it also seems to be faster at unzipping and installing files also.File explorer kinda feels a little outdated to me now.Glad i tried total commander instead.thanks again for the info.
And the only reason i was installing,uninstalling,and reinstalling so many zip and cab files was because i was looking for a new custom look for my homescreen and once i got everything installed and looking customized the way i like it i did a hard-reset and then installed just the zip and cab files i was going to use and i really like the new look i came up with.it took 14 cabs total,but the rom runs great.just like it did the day i flashed it.still excellent and very stable.Still the best rom for the CDMA T.Pro 2 by far,in my opinion.thanks again ai.

Threaded email is exclusive to 235xx series only. But there is a work around, and I am planning to include it in the next release (V16 is on the way with a better OS 21665!).

Not sure how good of a job it does though, as there still will be no threaded email for exchange server accounts, and it only works for POP3 accounts.

Threaded Email: That will work for me as I don't use exchange accounts on mine anyway just windows live but either way I am still very happy with the curent ROM.

Version 16 is up. Read post #1 for change log. I have tested this version for a while, and everything seems to work. But I am not a heavy phone user. So if there are bugs, let me know, and I will try to fix it ASAP.

Great rom dude I been using V15 and love it. My only gripe was no threaded email but now looks like V16 has it so I will try it out when I get a chance!

2 Quick Questions:
1. How does the threaded email work as I don't see the conversation option
2. The Regular wallpaper setting no longer allows me to just go to menu >> set wallpaper >> choose All Tabs and then choose a wallpaper; I choose Portrait and landscape wallpaper but nothing changes for landscape or portrait; will investigate it further after church tonight but those are my only 2 issues thus far.

Use registry to change to whatever wallpaper you like temporarily. You can edit registry using total commander or regedit.

Got I will try it now and if it works then I can just cab me up a couple and have them to switch up whenever I feel like it that way I only have to mess with the registry a few times to build the cabs but after that I can just use the cabs to change the wallpaper same as when I reflash. Everytime you have to reenter data that never changes. So I cabbed up all my licenses and owner settings so that I don't have to keep typng them each time I reflash lol lol. Hey AI thanks for the reg keys. Ok I did what you said and I was able to set the homescreen(the lockscreen and today wallpaper) with pics and videos as you said but it did nothing for the manila landscape or portrait wallpaper. To change that I had to change the reg keys. Once I did that I was able to see the wallpaper change. I am sure it is not that much of an issue to resolve but for now that is the only way I can change the wallpaper unless I make a HDWall Cab which I will try now as I have not use HDWalls in a long time. I am sure that I should be able to change the wallpaper from CHT but for some reason it is not updating the registry keys as it should. Researching it today. Thanks again for the help. Oh and if threaded email ever does work great but if not I am still very happy with your ROM.:joker::joker::geek::geek::thumbright: :thumbright:

Ran Task29,thanks for including ur task 29 in the rom zip for V16,and am flashing V16 now.I tried the stickied doloops task 29 and it errored twice on my device as did the regular task 29 form someone else,but ai yours worked perfectly.who knows.i sure am glad task 29 in the V16 zip tho.
i dont use threaded email so that doesnt bother me,but if the wallpaper tweak doesnt work ill wait for a patch cab.because i dont like making registry changes unless i absolutely have to,and if ur gonna make a cab fix for the problem then ill just wait for that.u are usually pretty quick about getting fixes released.thanks for the new giving us a new os on V16.just doing my last step now, a hard-reset and then configure my Cricket data settings.Ill use it pretty hard and let u know what i think in a cpl days.If u like it better than V15 than im sure its great.

when i imported my cht settings on V16cht it restored the wallpaper i was using anyway so i havnt had to even try to change the wallpaper.It came that way after importing my favorite settings.so if u want a certain wallpaper just save yor cht settings with that wallpaper on V15 and it should restore that wallpaper after importing your settings u saved from V15.maybe that will help if anyones having pr4oblems with wallpaper changes.im gonna gov the rom a thorough testing and let everyone know what i think in a cpl days,thanks again for what looks like another great release.

Not sure about the CHT patch yet. Yes it looks like the reg key is not properly written when changing wallpapers. It might be an issue with Manila 2016...i will have to do more testing...

Run task29 from agent47 (valkyrie), or the one included in the ROM pkg always.

Thanks for looking into it AI... The settings way of changing the wallpaper was a good option but when I use the import reg settings the contacts always come in messed up so that is not an option for me as I don't want to have to reset the contacts everytime I update wallpaper. Being that I work with PCs all day anyway I am very comfortable updating the registry as I do it in my job quite frequently so I will just go that route until you come up with a fix and get the issue resolved.
