Yep...just tested the 3/17 kitchen and the text sound works. Also its not a sys problem in the baseline 002 kitchen because I tried 3 different sys.

But if no one else has had a issues with the notication sound in the kitchen, it could be just something I did.

@Raid any idea how I can set my default font and color that I setup using your scripts for titanium customizations at build rather than having to do it manually after each flash?

Thanks fo rthis info, its not something you did. I dont have sound for email or text either, but the phone rings.. very odd. since it works in 3-17 I will just compare and see what I did to break it :-/

yes
the easy way would be to boot he rom, use the script to change it to what you want and then save the titanium_480x800.cpr and titanium_800x480.cpr from \windows and overwrite the ones in 05_titanium_cpr_reg. the hard way (maybe easier way) is to do it all in the kitchen using this as a base for known colors (known by me, at least, this list is by no means exjaustive, it only contains ROY G BIV and a few others):

I'm using 3/14 Kitchen Raid so it had to be something in the newest kitchen.

The only thing I can think I changed was I made a better blue manila clock, and redid my startup animation. I will check though when I get time. I also do not like not hearing my email notification and will release a fixed kitchen & rom when I figure it out..

I have tried many ROMS and never even posted until today. I just want to say thanks, this ROM is amazing, super fast and looks good. I almost want to start messing with the kitchen, I am enjoying this ROM so much. Anyhow the 2.5 year old and 3 week old will prevent that from happening for at least a little bit, so until then I look forward to the updated ROMs, hopefully opera 10 final???

Hey is there anyway to make everything change back to the stock look? I love the ROM and everythings been working fine so far, i'm just not super fond of the blue everything (although blue is my favorite color lol). I very much like the stock 6.5.3 titanium and 2.5 manilla looks/icons.

Also, I noticed that the pagepool was set to 6 in the pagepool changer app, im not expert but usually this is pretty low isnt? Wouldnt this affect performance greatly? just wondering if changing it would make a big difference?

Pretty sure Raid said you can get rid of all the blue by removing the "theme" section of his EXT in the newest kitchen.

And 6 really isn't that low for this ROM, that's usually what i set any ROM out of this kitchen at because it does not need the high PP crutch that alot of ROM's do need...

edit: I see what you meant.. you meant to stop the arrows from showing on either side of the lock icon (the ones I worked so hard on to make blue and dark..) oh well. memory is better than looks.

edit 2: don't delete that key, will break data altogether. hard resetting now.. lol

I am going to make a blank remnet.exe and just overwrite remnet and see what happens when it is cooked. have to wait for tonight though unless I am feeling dangerous enough to flash my work phone with an experimental rom that may not have a data connection..
edit 6: I was feeling dangerous and went ahead and cooked and flashed like that (remnet.exe as a blank file) data still works but the popup is still there. I have concluded that remnet.exe is NOT responsible for the popup.

I guess I didn't understand which popup you were talking about. That cab kills the- Unable to connect to #777 Please check your settings and try again- popup that you get after hanging up a call with an app requiring a data connection open. Didn't mean to waste your time. Both of those cabs are in my Sashimi folder and I have never had to hard reset. Not sure what happened there.

I have been working on this. The green cab below are SOME of the original files, i.e. menu selectors, radio buttons, comm manager slides, etc. I still have a few more to do but will update. The other one is Amurullz tsk that I modified with a Livven's softbar.

Edit: I have pulled the page pools back on a lot of the roms out there with no adverse effects on no noticeable difference in speed.
