I am going to make a blank remnet.exe and just overwrite remnet and see what happens when it is cooked. have to wait for tonight though unless I am feeling dangerous enough to flash my work phone with an experimental rom that may not have a data connection..
edit 6: I was feeling dangerous and went ahead and cooked and flashed like that (remnet.exe as a blank file) data still works but the popup is still there. I have concluded that remnet.exe is NOT responsible for the popup. |
I guess I didn't understand which popup you were talking about. That cab kills the- Unable to connect to #777 Please check your settings and try again- popup that you get after hanging up a call with an app requiring a data connection open. Didn't mean to waste your time. Both of those cabs are in my Sashimi folder and I have never had to hard reset. Not sure what happened there.

Also, I noticed that the pagepool was set to 6 in the pagepool changer app, im not expert but usually this is pretty low isnt? Wouldnt this affect performance greatly? just wondering if changing it would make a big difference?

I have been working on this. The green cab below are SOME of the original files, i.e. menu selectors, radio buttons, comm manager slides, etc. I still have a few more to do but will update. The other one is Amurullz tsk that I modified with a Livven's softbar.
Edit: I have pulled the page pools back on a lot of the roms out there with no adverse effects on no noticeable difference in speed.
