I don't have any data issues or any pop us............ Here ya go as requested [IMG][/IMG] I have always been under the impression that the data connection may be active , visible by the comm manager switch, BUT that it goes into a dormant or idle phase...indicated by the arrows in the taskbar changing from on to off. I've also always believed from previous discussions that the data going dormant is actually more batt efficient than if the data connection actually terminates.......... What exactly is the issue you are getting at Darren? That it won't deactivate and go into Airplane mode? Im confused....... |

As I stated after my posted pic. I believe even Mighty covered it a long while back. The data in the comm manger says on but it goes into a dormant state identifiable by the TB icon arrows. I know sev peeps have went through with Batt monitors and pointed out that actually turning data completely off cause more drain because the system has to fully kick it back on and polling spikes. IDK I never really pay much attention to it to be honost. This is why I say I am not having an issue, it realy isn't even something I monitor at all. I have only ran one ROM that I could tell by the TB and comm manager that the data was being completely killed and I didn't run it long enough to get an accurate reading on battery life. I do know it took longer for the weather to update, gps to activate, and the internet to start up when the data was completely off. I had the lag like when I switch the data connection on in the comm manager......only it is everytime something updates after it kills the data. I say if I can use it for what I need it for without needing to charge mid day I am golden......which I could do even on another ROM known for eating battery life like candy. |

think your confused, popup was last beta and raid said he would fix that and he did as he and i stated, new issue is data doent turn off form commanager like it should, you said yours does, i said prove it, you cant as your post states. i dont wanna go into airplane and then data off then airplane off. you said in your post data turns off using commanager data off but as you see your wrong. im done with the issue, nobodys data turns off the correct way and as i also said im sure raid will fix it.

Raid,
Just wanted to pay tribute to your work. I have been quietly lurking around here and xda for a while now. Flashing since the xw6700, across about 8 different model phones, and I have never been as pleased with a ROM as I am with this one (Titanium) on the Touch Pro 2. This is really sweet! Highly functional, fast, stable and even sharp looking. Microsoft should make you an MVP for demonstrating the great things their software is capable of in the right hands. You Rock! |

+1 on the above post Raid...
The COM2 Titanium ROM i cooked from your kitchen has run at about 39-40% usage all weekend long and not a single hiccup, this kitchen truly is amazing!
