About the most serious issue I have ever had, is sometimes the CHT lockscreen gets out of sorts upon wakeup (the lockscreen graphics overlap some of the home screen graphics), however after swiping and unlocking everything is running fine.
the new version of cht fixes the lock screen issues. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=123875

Not the issue for me, i'm on Sprint. It has only happened once earlier today since I reflashed but i'm still not sure sure what cab(s) may be causing it.

Elaborate ...

The only problem I have seen is when I try to use the manila lock screen.

disabling the full screen weather animation removes a great amount of the lag and there are some cabs out there such as "disable sense vsync" that seem to make a small improvement, but there will always be some lag.

i realize there will all ways be some lag but mine is unbearable, i have have tried almost everything like reg optimize, cleaning, tweaks, diff roms. is there a way to make the weather icon static so it doesn't move every time? as for this "disable vsync", any idea where i could find it?

Thanks in advance

if you are using cookie home tab, then you will have more lag than usual due to it being made for the hd2 (with a 1ghz processor) so having it on a tp2 will be slower.

here is the disable vsync cab which i personally believe removes some lag but you may or may not notice a difference
