Re: [ROM] [05-26-10] MR.X Sense 2.5_2012 [Build 21892.5.0.89]
I am on a trip to Puerto Rico and keep on getting the "Device is registering on a voice service only network. Data services are currently unavailable." popup. I found a thread dealing with it, but I have a hard time figuring out if the posted fix still applies.
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...9&postcount=85 I have a Verizon phone. Thanks for your help. Last edited by serhito; 06-03-2010 at 08:53 AM. |

So being that this ROM is cfc compressed what all does that mean as far as cookies home tab and theme's? For instance:
If cookie home tab was cooked into the rom, would it therefore be cfc compressed also? making it faster? |

To all of you guys that updated from the 4-22 build to this 5-26 build:
Do you notice any increase in speed? Do you notice any decrease in memory leak? Do you notice any bugs fixed? My 4-22 flash feels like it's getting slower by the minute. My text input in SMS is incredibly laggy (4-5 words behind my input) even with an empty inbox. Also, after about 4 hours, my memory creeps up to 80% usage with nothing but SMS open. And after leaving my phone on for about 8 hours, my task manager window will go all black. If you hit the icon in the top right corner to drop down the task switcher and memory stats, it's all black, no data or icons. Thanks for your input! |

YEs it's faster, haven't soft reset or restarted phone since set up and I'm at 69% memory and didn't notice bugs before or on this one. My phone will lag when texting if I'm receiving a text or just sent one, but on a regular basis, I have no lag at all, so I can't offer a fix, other than something is tying up the processor when you're trying to type. Maybe something else is running at that time, update to email, weather, etc, because I've never had lag on any of X's builds and you don't find many complaints from any users about that. |

Speed seems great - though the rom felt pretty responsive to me in previous editions as well, so I can't quite make as strong of a statement about that question. One other aspect - battery life seems unreal (again, even in comparison to my pre CHT days.) I am not a heavy user though, so this might be some sort of placebo. |

I have had zero issues and the battery life is greatly increased. I am a heavy texter, and on stock rom had to recharge by 3 or 4 in the afternoon, I now go all day without a charge. One thing to note, if you use Windows Live, set it update folders every 15 minutes instead of as items arrive, it makes a big difference.
