Any progress with this? I still can't update My Location Weather when I'm within 2-3 miles of my home. From searching around for months it looks like this is mostly happening with Verizon users. Also I've read the "My Location Service" doesn't use GPS, it uses the cell towers.

I haven't had any problems with updating location and weather at all. Try reprovisioning for VZW again though - it seems to me I did that a time or 2.

Thanks for the info. But I've tried that and just about everything else.
