Re: {ROM}{23557|6.5.5}{4/10}Formula's SPB MobileSense{Loaded/Baseline\Standard}Generi

running the Lite rom with custom MS packages. Very nice so far, no major hiccups. I like to flash then flash it again immediately after reboot. I think that keeps the gremlins out.

I just wish we could get the twitter widget working right.

Don't think it will every work right. I don't use twitter that much but my loaded version has a twitter app included, there are plenty of small apps that will do much more than the widget. This is a an issue with the browsing cores of the newer 6.5.x sys and I doubt SPB will resolve this as they are working on getting 5.0 out.

Re: {ROM}{23557|6.5.5}{4/10}Formula's SPB MobileSense{Loaded/Baseline\Standard}Generi

I've been using the 'E' version. I'm not sure what is going on with this RZ base any my particular setup, but the first day things seem great, within a day or two, the phone just becomes slow and unresponsive. Activesync won't maintain a connection, and a variety of just other oddities.
It's not a memory problem, as I boot with almost 100Mb free, and drop into the 80's with use.
I don't think this is a MobileShell or MobileSense problem, as I ran the Calkulin based ROM's pretty well. This has been consistent since the RaidZero switch for me however.
I don't load much onto the phone after setup either. My Sashimi script sets up my email (exchange) and loads a certificate (self-signed exchange server), then copies some shortcuts into the \windows\Start menu directory for things I already have installed on the storage card.
After that, I have been installing BAZ 3-row start menu. I did have to install Arc-soft and a verizon keyboard fix.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
-Z

Sorry to hear you have problems, all i can say is i have never had this behavior and that it is actually the opposite for me. Usually after about 1 full day and a few soft resets the rom seems to act smoother and perform better.

I do sync with exchange without any problems. 2 things, are you restoring text in any way? If so what program. 2nd with the Arcsoft is this just reg cab or acrsoft itself for Verizon? Post both cabs you are using so I can open them and dissect them...My guess is its something in the cabs your using. For your sashimi stuff is there any cabs you are installing? Is there anything on your storage card that runs in the background? (I have had stability issues prior running apps from my storage card)

Oh and are you installing any carrier cab other than arcsoft and the key mapping?

I have given up on Pandora a long time ago as it has always been flaky for me. Not sure if this has anything to do with it but i read in the EXT request thread one user was able to get Pandora to load and work after opening Windows Media Player and disabling Shuffle. I know this sounds weird but its what they posted.
