Yup, that's why I haven't pulled the trigger on an epic yet. Gotta see the next HTC android with a keyboard. Besides, I ended up hating the last Samsung phone I had.

Epic v. Evo?? It's hard to give up 22.5/month, and looks like either one will take me to $50/month & no more 25% discount. I think I'm staying put until Sprint waives the $10-20 extra per month. Might check out Android on TP2...

i got way more broken htc phones than anything. i just love the screen and its built well imo.

i was thinking same thing, look in my wp7 gang thread where i bashed the epic for weeks cause i had a junk samsung phone. the epic is made way better than any samsung phone i have owned and is just as tough as any htc phone. htc evo is slower and no superAMOLED or gorilla glass screen. sales of epic seem to be ok too since its #1. both phones are good but one has more of what i want and its not a kickstand.

I'm on SERO, and from what I've heard, you lose your discount when you convert to SERO-Plus or whatever they call that. If I'm wrong, that's awesome!!

You won't lose anything that is already on your account. I switched to an everything data plan and I still have any 3 numbers unlimited.

Well my brothr has the epic & I check it out often but I not into the keyboard keys which are a little harder and smaller,
BuT at least they are not recessed like my sis Samsung Transform.

I am set on gettn the Evo shift even if it does not have the front cam Because its processor is said to be able to overclock higher,
So it will fly past both Epic&Evo in speed,
AND it will sell for less than the both the Epic& Evo !
AND it will be here in Jan

epic overclocked will kill the evo or evo shift sooooooo...

saw shift is $150 which is nice but its at bestbuy which i hate.

Just confirmed it after some research: those moving from Sprint SERO to SERO Premier *will* lose discounts (percentage off discounts). Some perks may move over, but it's hit or miss.

So...I'm definitely staying put for now. Hard to swap a heavily perked plan at $22.50/month for $50/month...
