Onward to actual ROM conversations...

With all the talk of how much faster the non-CHT roms are, I went ahead and flashed the 8-5 non CHT rom. As far as I can tell it's not any faster than the 8-7 CHT ROM. Perhaps it has to do with how I set up CHT. I set it to basic animations and turn of home page full page weather. Both of those settings make a big difference.

Anyway, with the 16 shortcut mod I can live without CHT for now, I guess I just can't go more than 10 days without flashing the phone.

^^ Totally different experience, using 08-05 no-CHT and it's blazing in comparison to CHT. Entire phone experience is vastly improved.

I'm wondering which 16 links cab is compatible with this ROM (2016) ??

The 16 quicklinks posted in the paperclip of this thread is compatible. SEEEE. I tried telling you guys No Co0kie is where it's at for our hardware. I run it on HD2 all the time though.

That's not my experience right now. I had been running 8-7 Pluto cookie which had a tiny bit of lag occasionally. I've switched to 8-5 Pluto no-cookie with the 16 quicklinks from this thread's paperclip, and it's showing at least the same, if not a bit more lag. All the same aps are installed, and I've got the same backgrounds (non-animated). I'm going to live with it until Vin releases 2018.
