On Sprint - do we need to install the SMS Patch cab in order for MMS to work out of the box like it did on your Feb 8 rom?

IF NOT, how do we get MMS working again like it did in your Feb 8 rom?

for mms u will need the sms patch and a copy of arcsoft .... i removed the patch because it still had issues with using messaging from the phone pad and since i have a t-mobile account now as well i use it for mms therefore i use the messagin client when i get home later if i have time i will find and post arcsoft and the sms patch

why no task manager shortcut on the taskbar? the lack of a dedicated task manager is the only reason I stay away from 6.5.x roms.

fixed messaging tab to use standard messaging

restored CDMA mms capabilties

all messaging is fixed

changed sense slider tab to my own black one

not missing ... not added ... htc removed it from their gsm stock rom so i never replaced it

Thanks for your fine rom - any way I can map the setting shortcut in start menu to go to the start menu folders containing personal, connections and other folder instead of going to setting tab and thanks again.

Also, appreciate including that global smart dialing from Sprint - don't know if I ever need it but like to see it there and it is usually not in many roms at all other than stock - thanks again.

Ditto on the Settings shortcut. JD, thanks so much for all of your work on this ROM.

On another front, that is the one thing I would like to see added to this ROM is better organization of stuff. When I pull up the Start folder, it is chaotic. Organizing everything into a few folders would really help. Not meant as a criticism of this ROM only, as most of them seem to be this way. There are a couple other ROMs that are pretty well organized, but they are not as fast as this one.

HideSettings - change from 1 to 0

Then delete the HTC Setting shortcut if you wish.

i plan on releasing an experimental rom that i made today that has the ereader tab as well as the document browser it will be a one-time thing and unsupported since i dont really like these in the rom

JD, thanks for this excellent release! I am loving the fact that "everything" seems to be working right out the box. Reverting to the native messaging client is definitely the way to go, at least for me! MMS also works out the box, landscape/screen orientation is quite snappy, weather animations are smooth...the only issue im having is HTC's Location service putting me in the wrong state (CA as opposed to CT). I am very impressed (first time using your ROM :)) and very happy with the results of your labor. :)
