I can't tell if its wvga or not, but the cab is dated March 2009. Do you know of any recent htc task manager updates? thank you

I had to export reg settings from my phone since the app.reg in ext I have was blank. If you don't want activesync to show up you will have to add replog.exe to the exclusive list @ HKCU\Software\HTC\Task Manager.

Thanks.

ACHILLES, for whats its worth, i'm using (and prefer) wkTask without any issues whatsoever. Its definitely an essential app, IMO, and always the first .cab I install a fresh flash.

Anyone know how to remove the TaskManager shortcut from the Home screen?

I am really liking your rom and thanks for the work in it. Just wanted to ask if there would be some way for me to get software zoom bar in Opera 9.7 via a cab or something? I have a cabbed version of Opera 9.7 with software zoom bar on horizontal but when I installed it - it did not work that well. Anyway, thanks again for the rom.

Also, appreciate including that global smart dialing from Sprint - don't know if I ever need it but like to see it there and it is usually not in many roms at all other than stock - thanks again.

Gary

Ditto on the Settings shortcut. JD, thanks so much for all of your work on this ROM.

On another front, that is the one thing I would like to see added to this ROM is better organization of stuff. When I pull up the Start folder, it is chaotic. Organizing everything into a few folders would really help. Not meant as a criticism of this ROM only, as most of them seem to be this way. There are a couple other ROMs that are pretty well organized, but they are not as fast as this one.

Update: DUH! I did a little research and discovered I can add my own folders and organize the Start Menu, so my apologies. Shows what a Noob I am with Windows Mobile! I have been using Windows, Linux, etc. for years, but my smart phones have all been Blackberry or Palm OS based up till now.

On a bright note, I have been testing most of the ROMs out there, and I have to say that JD's ROM is REALLY fast compared to most of the others. There is one other I have tested that is close. But, JDs ROM also is very stable and is a joy to set up, as everything just works. Props to you.

I noticed that I had to open a program and "close" using the x in the upper right before I could see the task manager on the home screen. You might wanna give that a try.

Again really enjoying this rom and thanks. Is there any way I can get Activesync not to start up on reboot? Not really a "big" problem but just wondering.

Also, would like to get that the horozontally placed software zoom back in Opera 9.7 if possible- again no big deal just mentioning it and thanks.

That worked JD, thanks...fumbled around over at XDA and randomly thanked Dutty as well...

My boy sent me the cover of the new Madden game for next year yesterday, they put Brees on the cover...let's hope the Madden curse is a myth!

The original version JD has in his ROM doesn't show up in the top right corner of the taskbar...this version does...it's just more convenient for some...

Ahhh...well in the previous ROM JD left in HTC messaging and the PicMail had issues...this new ROM reverts back to WinMo messaging and PicMail works just fine.
