READ ME: This ROM is designed for everyday use by me for me if you are looking for "eye candy" you will not find that stuff here as it is designed to be as close to HTC stock ROM as possible, the design of this ROM is "as is" please do not ask about adding or removing a feature or program, as I have the "Now Network (Sprint)" this is who the rom is setup for, other carriers may use it but support for other carriers if any will be limited....... I just played with the contacts tab and I tried to add a contact and have it defaulted to SMS. I was hoping what you just said meant that you figured out how to add a contact and default it to SMS with it going to outlook. Is there anyway we can edit some files so that we can add contacts, have it defaulted to SMS, and when we click it- it goes to outlook since we have HTC messaging disabled? 2.5 would be perfect if somebody could just figure that out. Sense 2.1 can do it so how come we can't do it on 2.5? Thanks in advance.

I had a weird problem. I may have broke something. Internet stopped working after I updated PRL. Then I tried to update profile but I kept getting 1012 error. A hard reset and update profile later i'm good to go. That update PRL did something(well I think that's the cause)...

On another note, I still got the occasional freeze upon bootup. It froze at the activesync screen. I've had this problem even on my Touch Pro. I sync with an exchange and sometimes on a soft reset the screen will just freeze at the whit activesync screen. So this isn't a problem with the rom since I've had it since TP days. Anybody notice this with activesync occasionally?

for some reason it wasn't workin for me and i was about to leave the house.

so far i noticed one thing thats kinda bugging me, whenever i start a data connection like open up a website or something, its launching what the cm guardian normally does the device activation manager. funny thing is there is no cm guardian entries in the registry.
i am not on sprint, im on metropcs so having that doesn't do me any good lol

not sure why you say this, jd's 2.1 rom was so good it didnt really need support and in that thread jd covered all questions. maybe the guy has a life other than this site plus its the holidays.

I have to agree with darren, JDs 2.1 rom was solid as hell used it for over a month. Seems his interests currently is to dab with 2.5 but I would not say its a dead end rom this is his usual style low key and solid.

I've always been a fan of JD's roms but I'm not really a big fan of sense 2.5. I like JD's rationale for removing the messaging tab but if there's an obvious incompatibility with 2.5 why even cook it in at all? Are there any real advantages to 2.5 that I'm not aware of?

I've had nothing but bad experiences with sense 2.5 roms but just because this is JD's I'm more inclined to flash this...

Hi, thank you for making this rom, it's the first 6.5 rom I actually enjoyed because it is fast. Some of the things don't work base on others comments, but it doesn't matter to me since I don't use those features. It would be a bonus to organize the preloaded apps in category folders.

I'm also getting a white screen.

theres a new groovefish dll to put in groovefish folder, its not the old one and it works. i posted link in malatesta rom thread and in global 6.1 rom thread. i think your the same person i answered in mal thread?

Thank you for keeping default icons.Im used to them.
It was very hard to operate on other ROMs
One question:how to restore default black wallpaper on sense 2.5 homescreen?
I changed it in settings/personalize/home tab wallpaper and now I cannot go back to original one...
So far everything works ecxept quick gps,which is useless anyways imao.

Edit:HTC Messaging is useless too imao.Thanks for removing it.I just placed E-Mail shortcut to Manila quick link on today screen for easy and fast access to sms/mms

This tweak saved few Mb of memory usage on this ROM (it works on all ROMs)

And to kill unwanted clock flip every time I touch x-button I installed WVGA_2.5.cab
