Been awhile but I'm back .... here is something that I have been working on this is a manila 2.5 rom with landscape support , working mms , just finshed today so test if there is bugs I fix what I can http://www.sendspace.com/file/pdnvei Enjoy.

real nice jd, mms working fine. lots of avail. mem, rams stsying low. very happy so far and im not a big 2.5 fan. so far no issues and im loading all my apps now.

so I take it this has the default windows messaging still right? I'm growing fond of the look of the HTC messaging, but the lag still bugs me. Not bad when you purge your messages.

been a bit busy my self and havent flashed a rom in like 2 weeks but now since all this new topaz sense is out i gota give it a shot. jack i'll be downloading and flashing shortly :)

yes, there is a patch cooked in, youll see it when phone boots up, i have no lagg that i can tell. im not a big 2.5 user so some may disagree. roms very fast/stable, im fully loaded with not one issue.

I may have to give this a shot then. I'm on SSS r5 right now and its the fastest and most stable 2.5 rom I've tried, but the picmail issue is bothersome. Thanks for the info.

maybe i spoke too soon, i just got a pic. sent to me that i could open from pop up that shows when on internet and i hit "hide" then left site to look at pic but it wasnt listed on manila, had to hit all messages. doesnt bother me but might bugg some of you.

how's the memory now, 55%ish or low 60's after loading all your stuff, playing around on the web and stuff? downloading now but figured I would ask. dont care about the mms thing too much.

first of..WELCOME BACK JD..and quick question to who ever...is there a cab for landscape? havent really used 2.5 coz of all the probs...and from what im readin here..everything is workin great..so imma give it a shot..ive been on 2.1 forever..which is awesome..just gettin bored with it..thanks for who evers replies..

Like the speed so far.

Slingmobile plays landscape upside down. With keyboard out, it corrects itself, but if back in, it goes upside down again. Anyone w/ fix for this?

Tested MMS - sent to myself but nothing recieved but texts. Is this normal?

didnt try sling yet to be honest, im on a moment now that i have and both tp2's are at my house but im snowed in at my girls. i can ask flyers guy, he slings, ill post back in few min.

I was on JD's 2.1 since it came out and really didn't upgrade everytime he came out with updated roms because it just works like it should. Expect the same from his 2.5 since MMS has been fixed (I didn't confirm it yet. Sending via HTC msger works, see the pic sent etc, but I only recieve text, no pics when tested sending/rec' via my phone number).

Oh and I do notice opera browsing is faster, not sure how or why though.

flyers guy didnt flash yet so no answer to sling yet, are you using the gfx boost cab for improved picture? it helps a ton plus you can kill it while using coreplayer.

no i tried it but didnt see significant improvement, and i think it crippled youtube so got rid of it
