Ok....I have a small issue...are gif images working for everyone...mine are not and it is driving me nuts...I tried to overwrite this Arc version and it will not let me because of the security policy...JD is there a way around this?.....I killed tmailexe, thinking that would allow another install...but it is a no go...gonna go play in reg until I find a fix...

Time Zone Issue
 

I'm having an issue with the clock.

It knows I'm in Richmond, VA but it sets my Time Zone to Pacific. I can change the time but not the time zone so it always reverts back :(

See attached screenshots.

Any solutions? Is this a bug or a setting that needs to be changed? Never had this issue before.

Go to settings and change your timezone in clocks and alarms ... the problem is between CDMA RILPHONE.DLL and WM6.5 HTC created a program called EnableNITZ which handles this issue from the clocks and alarms settings use this to set your time since manila 2.5 is still designed for GSM ROMs

Excellent - that seems to have worked, however, shouldn't the time zone be set from the GPS? I mean it knew I was in VA. A few months ago I went to Colorado and it automatically set the time zone correctly for me, but then again, that was an older version of Manila...

Sprints towers set your time depending on your location ... when your timezone switches so should your time

Sorry for the daily downloads I am just trying to get this ROM tight .... since manila 2.5 has been fixed to have landscape it make this phone have life and more different than the touch pro so here is where I will be spending most of my time for now

I am currently performing many tests....lol....I sent the pic right from the sprint website where it is showing up as a gif....but not on my phone or his when it is received...weird!!!

Sent them every which way but loose.....I do not know wth is going on...I even grabbed a different gif image from the pc...placed it on the phone...checked it...it worked then sent it through MMS...in the sent folder it plays the image...but when I receive or he receives it...it is a no go...I am super confused...lmao!!!

This is the only Manila 2.5 rom that I have seen where the Music tab does NOT rotate via the g-sensor.

Is there a setting or reg edit that I can change to get that back?

Or did JD take that functionality out?

Goto settings, press menu, then all settings. You see the clock & alarms in the center? Press that, and change the time zone.

not a big deal, but why isn't there a back soft-button on "All Settings" on your latest ROM's? Also on automatic prepend both options are Radio 1. Neither of these are big deals for me, just curious.
