Kitchen

Kitchen

Attached to this post are 2 small files:

1. A .txt file with the ROM links to my kitchen packages (EXT/OEM and ROM/SYS).

2. The RomSaved file for my Visual Kitchen ROM configuration (put in the TOOLS>RomSaved folder).

Please do not repost any of my download links, but feel free to link to this post.

These packages are for use with Ervius' Visual Kitchen, based on Bepe's Platform Rebuilder. The Visual Kitchen can be downloaded here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=469420

If you are not familiar with the Visual Kitchen, or need help with it, look at these threads:
How to: Use The Visual Kitchen
Visual Kitchen Hints and Tips

The Kitchen includes everything in the ROM, plus additional files for Manila Sense 2.1

I don't care what you do with my kitchen. You can use any packages or files you find, but please give me the proper credit if you post a public ROM with elements of my work, or repost any files from my kitchen. Thanks.

Re: indagroove's Titanium TouchPro 2 ROM

I was wondering when you were going to post a rom for the touch pro 2. Glad to see you here. I just got my tp2 yesterday and sold my touch pro today. I actually have withdrawals from my tp because of how awesome your last rom was for that. It was hands down the best rom I've ever flashed for the touch pro (and i've been through at least 30 roms from just about every chef).

Can't wait to try your touch pro 2 rom but I'll wait for one that isn't titanium only... :)

He means it's a titanium ui ROM. No tf3d manila.
I'm gonna give it a shot. I remember indagrooves ROM's from older devices I have owned. It's been awhile, but I thought they were very slick.

Hmmm...For Sprint?

Is your TP2 from Sprint? I know my buddy's T-Mobile TP2 has a different keyboard layout. Function and the U key on my TP2 is a +, while the / comes from Function and the J key for me.

nope mines verizon. i had no idea the keyboard layout was different carrier to carrier. i do miss the TAB key though. ty

Finally someone else keeping up with the good SYS'es ;)

I like 21884 too, no sense in blindly using 21869 because it is last shipped version.... these new COM2's are all stable

Not sure what your point is. No, there is no Manila and there won't be any Manila in this rom ever ever. That's why it's listed as a Titanium rom, get it? I don't like or use Manila, so why should I include it? If you want a custom rom with Manila, either build your own or flash someone else's.

I ran this rom for over a week before releasing it, because I was tired of people asking me for things that I could care less about in my rom, Manila being one of them. To me, Manila is a waste of space, and is actually less productive for me personally. I could care less about a fancy UI, I just want everything to work, and that's exactly what my rom does best -- works.

Once again, THIS IS A TITANIUM ROM.

I've been pretty lazy in my cooking recently, since I now have an android phone in addition to my TP2, so I haven't been doing many sys upgrades. But it did seem like I should at least go for a new sys, maybe every week or two, along with the other main apps I use.

I think i'll take your ROM for a spin. I'm also not fond of Manilla and feel it takes up to much resources, although the animated weather was cute... Anyway the file is downloading as RELEASE_Rhodium_21844, is this just mislabeled and different then the 21884 build? Just asking.....

* It's correct, just mislabeled.

Thanks

Re: [120809] indagroove's Sprint Titanium TouchPro 2 ROM - (Build 21884.5.0.85)

Installed and testing....

Sprint is all setup (nice) by default, although the MMS portion is not.

For manual:

set up the settings for the sprint server
  • go to e mail tab
  • tap inbox
  • swipe touchscreen to the right to get to sms/mms inbox
  • press menu, scroll down to Pics/Video settings and choose it
  • Go to cdma servers tab open the existing server.
