Sprint is all setup (nice) by default, although the MMS portion is not.

For manual:

set up the settings for the sprint server
  • go to e mail tab
  • tap inbox
  • swipe touchscreen to the right to get to sms/mms inbox
  • press menu, scroll down to Pics/Video settings and choose it
  • Go to cdma servers tab open the existing server.
  • name the server whatever you like. I call mine sprint
  • leave gateway blank
  • port number is 80
  • server address: http://mms.sprintpcs.com/servlets/mms
  • connect via: sprint
  • press done...repeat for GSM server(not sure if it is required) delete any other servers
I tried to install a hack Sprint MMS cab and it told me I didn't have the permissions???
Is there a way to turn this off? (Ill search in the meanwhile).

Oops, thanks for pointing that out -- I hadn't noticed yet. I'll try to get that fixed tonight. I also just noticed that I need to fix Opera bookmarks.

I've been looking for a good Titanium ROM. Thanks for putting this out, Inda. I'll try it tomorrow.

Hardly. I had Manila 2.5 in my Diamond ROM months before any other CDMA chef. If I wanted it, I would cook it, but I don't -- plain and simple.

I've been looking for a good Sprint ROM with no manilla. I will definitely give this a try.

And for the people asking about manilla- it sucks. Try SPB Mobile Shell, it's the best interface by far.

i've been using this rom for 2 days now and i still have 70% battery and that's AWESOME, something that I was struggling with on some other roms, this is also very sleek and fast and allows me to go in and out of applications very easily. the weather feature being gone is not as big of a deal as i thought it would be, the phone works great!

Hey Indagroove,

I have not tried your TP2 ROM yet but if its anything like your 21864 sys that you had for the diamond...it would be now doubt it is a awesome ROM.

I like your work... I personally like the HTC Sense 2.1 but I wouldn't trash you for not making one. Kept doing what you do and thank you for you help in the past.=D>

Re: [120809] indagroove's Sprint Titanium TouchPro 2 ROM - (Build 21884.5.0.85)

Okay, I have this ROM installed and running. I setup my hotmail via the Windows Live, and then used MyPhone to get my contacts, calendar, and tasks. I then installed Sprint TV, Sprint Navigation, Sling Player, Remote Desktop, Skyfire, Facebook, SPB Mobile Shell, and put in the Sprint MMS settings.

Bing got my location in a matter of seconds (indoors). Google Maps had my location by the time the app opened (also indoors). I looked for Quick GPS but couldn't find it...

I then opened up Sprint Navigation and it prompted me to download Quick GPS data. So I set Quick GPS to automatically download, close when finished downloading, and don't remind me. It downloaded the data, and Sprint Navigation found my location in a matter of seconds- indoors.

I tested Internet sharing- worked flawlessly. I'll install the HTC WiFi Router tomorrow and test it...

I then opened up the Marketplace (which prompted me to install) and browsed through for a bit- worked flawlessly.

All of that stuff was installed to main memory too, nothing installed to storage card.

To anyone sitting on the fence about this- install this ROM. It is flat out awesome. I went out of my way to push it by installing everything to main memory, and it is still super snappy and responsive.

Juat a flat out awesome ROM. Very well done. After trying it out, now I can see why the chef said not to expect too many updates- because the ROM is pretty much perfect.

If he releases this kitchen, it is going to be a hot commodity, for sure. Heck, this ROM is going to be a hot commodity once the word starts spreading about it.

Big thanks to the chef, and I will be donating when I get some money.

All you people asking for manilla- install SPB Mobile Shell. You can even download it right from the marketplace. It's way better than manilla, and goes perfect with this ROM.

Is there a way to have classic lock instead of the slide to unlock? The classic seems to work better, its smoother and faster. Also I know it shouldnt have an effect but my reception appears lower with this ROM. I know its based on the radio but im not bugging, im having less bars at home & work. Everything else is good so far......

man i have no idea what he does in his rom to make the gps so quick. i used to think it was just a matter of what radio i was using. but then on my tp i decided to keep the sprint 1.12.34f radio and flash roms. and i mean every rom i had. grooves rom smoked everybodies gps lock. raidzero's later roms came close but grooves was always faster.

Go into the lock settings, click the display tab at the bottom and select "Windows Classic" from the drop down.

Go into the lock settings and uncheck the box that says "prompt if phone unused for."

Then when you lock the device, it won't ask for a passcode.

If you feel comfortable messing with the registry, hit the start/ system tools/ PHM Registry Editor and navigate to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settin gs] Set SMSNoSentMsg to 1

Worked for me.

I use winrar, it extracts pretty much anything, including 7z. It's free, and you can get it here:

For clarification, WinRAR is definitely better but it isn't technically free. The pocket PC version is free however.

Usually the case but this version of lock seems to be missing this. Its okay ill use the newer slide version. This ROM is great although my reception bars fluctuate between none and two. Its strange since it shouldnt matter since the radio is intact.

The bars shoot up to full when sending and receiving texts..... :l

Groove, thanks for re-entering the scene... It seemed a bit odd seeing all of the Diamond/TP players here but now Indagroove. Ignore everyone who complains about no manilla in your ROM; while it is a requirement for any ROM I choose, it is great to have more minds working on the core components of the PPC OS. I used your ROM for a while on my Diamond and it was a screamer... Thanks again Inda

I agree with MightyMike cleaning up this thread from all of the TC'ing. Those posts (kinda like this post :-) ) just make it more difficult to find useful information.

Well, there is a free trial, that's what I meant. he can download it and it will work for him today, for free.

But yeah, you're right, you have to pay to unlock the full version after the trial.

I think there is a free version out there too that just has nagware if you don't pay. I think I recall using somehting like that a while back until I gave in and paid for the full version...
