New ROMs are uploading now. XIP improved for better memory allocation, SMS text sending fixed, minor cosmetic improvements, and a ROM with the older 6.5 UI (COM2 -- SYS 21893) added. The COM5 ROM should be ready for DL in about 10 minutes, and the COM2 build in about 25 minutes..

sprint tv isnt working??? also inda do u have a very stable 6.1 rom for this phone "fully functional with no flaws"??

wow, much different (faster) than the other ROM i tried tonight. started with 6.5. gonna get 6.5.5 now. i like the bigger buttons. thanks for the ROM

Sorry, but I basically don't care for SprintTV at all, and stopped caring about taking the time to support it long ago. I think Calkulin has a SprintTV fix cab around somewhere with an older DShow version.

I haven't build a 6.1 rom for a very long time now (7 months), and never for the TouchPro2. Here's the most recent 6.1 ROM I've built (for Touch Pro), which was really just a novelty rom:

The big buttons can be fun, but you will find more stability with the COM2 (21893) build. That's the one that I run mostly myself.

i'll check that out. but shouldn't a sprint based rom, run the sprint based things? most people get the TV as part of the data plan now.

p.s. salty dawg has a fix on page 9. i'll try that out and see if it works on the newer versions.

i guess we'll see how it goes. probably the only reason i went to 6.5.5 is for the more finger friendly buttons. if it's too buggy, guess i'll go back to 6.1

email for yahoo will not work on 6.5.5. let me setup email, but then won't let me into it even though it downloaded messages. any ideas?

ROM updated. XIP has optimized for speed and available RAM. Thanks to MightyMike for some tips. InCall Recorder has also been enabled -- see notes at bottom of first post.

Quickie, I really like your tweaks and everything and has been contemplating on switching to titanium.. (but sense just looks so pretty.. T_T with that animating weather background... ) Any widgets out there to make titanium bit more... pretty?

I pretty much only run Titanium (with the occasional departure to Sense 2.5), and it's much more stable, faster, better memory, and better battery life. There are some good add-ons out there, but it really just depends on what you want. I just run mine pretty much stock.

Ok, done a test drive. Fast and nice but still blend for me... I'm wondering if there is any weather widgets of sort that will have that animating effect on home screen just like the 2.5 sense.Thanks for everything btw.

A simple - no frills option is download free Home Screen Customizer from Marketplace and give that a try there is a weather component to that and you can rearrange panels on the front and set a favorite panel.

I tried it, but I think you missed my point on the question.
In Sense 2.5, weather animates in the background while you are at home.

This was useful tool though, I really don't know a thing about customizing titanium and this is a start lol.

I am pretty certain you can't animate weather in Titanium.

I haven't used this...but here is an animated weather program (not on the home page, though).

it's not animated but I use titanium weather along with GPS Weather Radar Pro. I remove some panels and add the Weather using lpaso Titanium Customizer
