Okay, another thing...

I tried to install the install AL_CommManager_Suite_with_WifiSharing_1_1 cab so I could get the WiFi tethering, and it says it's unsuccessful because I don't have permission (or something like that).

I'll attach the cab I was trying to install, just so everyone knows what"m talking about...

Does anyone know how to get WiFi tethering (stealth, of course) set up on this ROM?

I'm still running last night's build, so maybe I should reflash using today's build? Do you think that would fix it?

I had a similar issue with another cab I tried to install. Not sure if this is addressed in the new build. I had responded previously so not sure if the chef skipped over this.

Found another issue...

Sprint TV is not working for me. Does anyone else have it working? It was giving me an error asking if I wanted to notify Mircoroft or something like that. I hit the option to disable notifictions, and now Sprint TV just freezes on the first screen when I launch it.

I'm still on last night's build, and I'm attaching the cab I tried to use. If anyone has any working cabs for any of the Sprint stuff (NFL, TV, Nascar) for this ROM, please post them...

I tried to open windows live from Start Menu it didn't open anything, the only way I was able to open it was from Titanium main screen.

+1

Watching indiagroove kick a little ass and express his feelings about manila, and half threaten to take down the thread, was the most interesting thing I've seen on the boards all week.

It makes the members of this community seem more like actual LIVE people instead of emotionless robots.

Also, it isn't like these chefs are sad little wussies with low self-esteem who need mods to come in and baby them. Give the chefs at least some credit guys...

Fantastic rom btw.

I'll have a new build up late tonight with this fixed, and also relaxed security policies for cab installs.

I love this god damn rom... and all of its originality.. Im not the best with getting out or helping someone find kinks in a rom.. but best i can say is sometimes it slows down.. i got a PPCBackup.exe crach and a Services.exe crash if that helps..

Services.exe crashed while going on opera 9.7
PPCBackup.exe crashed when trying to do a backup restore

Okay, so I have Sprint TV working now (still using last night's build). I had to install the Mr X Sprint Provisioning cab, and then install Sprint TV. But it is working, and I'm attaching the cabs for anyone who wants to try it.

Now uploading new ROM with Windows Live fixed, and relaxed application security settings. Link should be active in about 45 minutes.

Also uploading kitchen files now, including Sense 2.1 for you Manila whiners. Kitchen info in post 3. Kitchen links should be active in the next hour or two.

it's not there. You need to create the registry entries in HKCU/Control Panel I just created a new key named Owner in Control panel and then the string Owner and my name as the value. Worked like a charm.

HKCU/Control Panel/Owner
string: Owner with your name as the value

Jason, No Joy! tried that too... once making a new string Owner value, and 2nd attempt using the default within the New Key and providing a name value. Both didn't seem to satisfy GAlarm's registration startup. Thanks & appreciate the help!

First I'll thank the Chef for a great ROM, now I was wondering under the "favorites" category on the home screen, is there any way to add other pages to the folder? Also are there any calendar cabs that would make it possible to have one that shows the full month instead of day by day? I have tried the month option on the existing calendar but it doesn't stay put.

Thanks a lot~

Re: [121009] indagroove's Kitchen & Sprint Titanium TouchPro 2 ROM - (Build 21884.5.0

I had the strangest thing happen to me with my email accounts (just a couple, Gmail, and my Cox account). I know I set these up, and I connected and sync'd up with both of my webmail accounts.

However, when I try to "view" from Titanium, it wouldn't do anything. So I went into the Text messages from the Start menu, and from within my SMS / MMS Inbox, tried to slide over to my other accounts - but it wasn't happening. It was switching between my Outlook e-mail and my SMS / MMS folder. So I went to the Menu soft key on the bottom right (from within the SMS / MMS Inbox) and went to my account's Options - the mail setup only sported my SMS / MMS and the default Outlook Email (which I don't use) accounts.

I tried re-setting up my Cox and Gmail accounts but was unable to do so, as it "already exists".

This happen to anyone with their email?

Here's my dumb question of the day. I've got a Verizon TP2. If I use this ROM, based on an earlier post, I'll likely have keyboard issues. Is there a way to correct that? Further, will anything else be impacted relative to Verizon. I really want a Manila-less ROM, so I'm tempted to flash and take my chances. Thoughts? Advice?

Love the speed of this rom and thanks much for developing it. Can the icons in start menu be made larger - poor eyesight here. Anyway, I am loving the speed.

Day four of this ROM and the problems have started...I have two tp2's, so I was able to do side by side tests, one is sprint stock and the other has titanium. Both were opened using google to view msnbc.com, while stock took 10 seconds to load, titanium was still loading after 1 full minute.

I haven't added anything other than this ROM to my phone and it was very solid the first couple of days, any ideas why?

Also, both times i tried to send/receive emails, it reset by itself, strange?

So I downloaded the newest ROM version today, and I am still getting the don;t have permission (or whatever) error when I try to install that comm suite with WiFO router.

Does anyone know how to get a working WiFi router installed with this ROM?

Attached to this post are 2 small files:

1. A .txt file with the ROM links to my kitchen packages (EXT/OEM and ROM/SYS).

2. The RomSaved file for my Visual Kitchen ROM configuration (put in the TOOLS>RomSaved folder).

Please do not repost any of my download links, but feel free to link to this post.

These packages are for use with Ervius' Visual Kitchen, based on Bepe's Platform Rebuilder. The Visual Kitchen can be downloaded here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=469420

If you are not familiar with the Visual Kitchen, or need help with it, look at these threads:
How to: Use The Visual Kitchen
Visual Kitchen Hints and Tips

The Kitchen includes everything in the ROM, plus additional files for Manila Sense 2.1

I don't care what you do with my kitchen. You can use any packages or files you find, but please give me the proper credit if you post a public ROM with elements of my work, or repost any files from my kitchen. Thanks.

thank you for the kitchen, youve just made things so much easier for me now that i dont have to clean mine, i trust your work and im sure its nice and clean inside!!

Thanks a lot indagroove! I flashed my TP2 this morning and is working great! The only undexpected thing was that at first I couldn't connect to the Internet (from IE or Opera), couldn't sync with my company's exchange server or use marketplace. Turns out that when I went to Comm Mgr, Data Connections, then selected the Advanced tab, and clicked on Select Networks, "My work Network" was the default option in "Programs that automatically connect to the Internet should connect using:" option. Once I changed it to "Sprint", everything worked fine.

Basically 21855 is the classic view with the start menu at the top. 28014 is the newer look with the button's at the bottom. Functionally they are pretty equal.

i know some people would ask why, but chock it up to personal preference and usability for me...

I want to use 6.5 (the branch com2 i think without the big buttons, thats 2188*) BUT i want to straighten out the start menu... the zigzag kills me... but i dont want to use classic 6.1 menu because the scrollbar is present and its not as functional with scrolling (finger scrolling that is)

is this at all possible?

also what BT stack is this using... with the Stock Sprint my headset (pantech 855) the volume doesnt work properly... and i have to go in and turn headset off and on each time a new call comes in... its REALLY annoying and altogether SUCKS

Try SPB Mobile Shell. You can put whatever you want in the start menu and it's even more finger friendly than the zig zag WM 6.5 menu.
