Re: indagroove's Sense 2.5 TouchPro ROM - CE OS 5.2.23506 (Build 23506.5.5.0) [111709

For those of you that are having problems with weather not updating from "my location", are you using an Airave? If so, then the "my location" update feature may not work. I spent a whole day trying to figure it out...well, maybe thats a bit of a stretch, but as soon as I left my house, weather automatically updated. Happened a few times after several different ROM flashes.

i have best luck just hitting the "time" where the old task manager USED TO BE.. anywhere else i push is hit or miss, mostly a miss. try the clock & see what your experience is.

Does anyone know how to get the stock bluetooth icons back vs the custom ones included in the ROM?

Thanks much.

+1 on the Airave thing. I figured this out a few weeks back. When home, my devices says I am in LA. Infact I am 80 miles from LA. But as soon as I leave, it updates. Its kinda weird tho. Airave (at least the first gen model that I have) only supports voice, not data, so I don't understand how its doing what it is doing.

from my understanding the airave uses GPS coordinates to determine & verify you are in the usa. at that point it could "generalize" your area & consider you as los angeles, this is just my guess. I was also under the impression the airave supports the low speed data service just not the faster evdo service we are accustomed to. i hope to purchase one of these devices soon as my basement service sucks , so at this point you probly know more about it than me.

Have you installed any other toolbars, because I noticed some toolbars aren't compatible. One even brought back the old task manager. It didn't work very well.

Weather Updates work fine, for some reason the weather updates don't turn the data connection on but as long as I have started the data connection it updates automatically, with no problems...

I know that the sun and windshield wiper animation seem to slow the phone down the most but for some reason when it was sunny earlier the menus were loading slow as well, now that its night everything seems to pop up quickly...

Did I read somewhere that the music and pic tabs dont rotate on 6.5.x builds?

Thanks for everyones input.
