It primarily uses location info via data connection, from googlemaps so if you cook rom you should include googlemaps it or install via cab.

if u think the rom is so great (which it is btw), u should check out the kitchen, up until now i gave up on cooking for the tp, i never understood the kitchens everyone has, this one is so organized that im learning it finally! now im downloading new packs to add and hopefully have my own custom psykirom soon to be tested

sweet i hope you do!! ill be looking forward to that one.. keep the psyki legacy alive for us half contracters who cant afford full price for a new tp2

bad day....

i tried flashing the new rom (sp1) that psyki uploaded earlier for the verizon users...it still did not work. trusting psyki's work, i thought i would start from scratch. after a couple of "flashdances" it still would not load up. so i flashed back to psyki 9/29. i guess i was not paying attention to battery life, because during the customization of the rom the battery died and phone will not respond....

do i now own an expensive paperweight?

i'm going to start digging around to see what i could find, but i thought i would ask here first

pull the battery, re-insert battery, plug into usb charger, let it sit a minute and u will see it should start re-charging again, let it charge at least 15min before you attemp to power it on, if it comes and and doesnt boot right just stick yourself into bootloader and reflash

i think sp1 is not 100% meant for verizon users, i was told he'd be releasing an sp1 kitchen as well and this is where i think verizon users need to go to change the pagepool from 24mb to 6mb, i have a feeling sp1 rom is still set at 24mb, i havent tried it but im just thinking this is the remaining problem

it was acting as though it was charging the entire time...even when not plugged in. i pulled the battery, re-inserted and let it charge for about 20 minutes. when i pushed power button, nothing......when i held the power button for about 30 seconds (one of the diamond forums said to hold it down for 35), the phone powered back on.

thanks for your help tommy...thought i was so screwed. glad to hear that someone will be carrying on the psyki torch

for the kitchen, whats the difference of an EXT and an OEM? which one do i need to make from cabs in order to cook them in?

got my google problem fixed. Synced my google on my wifes' phone and noted the settings it was using. Different rom. Checked it against my own and the 995 and 4 something or other needed to be deleted off the incoming and outgoing name server.

As for the youtube i suppose it was a couple of cabs for htc social networking and and one for dutty's facebook fix because once I moved those to skip (sashimi) and did another HR youtube has been fine. Also for anyone who is experiencing connection issues for gps to flash radio first before assuming the worst.

I've had to do it a few times now , for some reason it seems to corrupt with all the flashing going on. Who the hell really knows . Anyways thats been my little time for the week.

Great rom psyki. I d/l your kitchen but didn't do anything with it yet. Gotta read up more on it first before I tackle something like that.

Did we ever find a cure for the clock setting tab not going thru yet?
