Re: EmpiROM - Featuring TellMe & WM6.5.1 - Fast, Stable, Sleek. For Touch Pro.

Unfortunately, I don't have an exchange account - I'm using multiple imap/pop3 accounts, but my send button is the one on the bottom next to the Windows (start) button. It's the one that looks like an envelope with the "speed" lines shooting out of it.

I'm using an Exchange account, and when I hit "OK" at the bottom right, it prompts me: "Do you want to save this message in the Drafts folder?". If I tap the menu, the options are:

Check Names
Insert >
My Text >
Save to Drafts
Spell Check
Cancel Message
Message Options

Where on earth is the "Send" button?

The only workaround I've found is to save it to Drafts, go to the Drafts folder and use Move to move it to the Outbox, and then it sends automatically.

Re: EmpiROM - Featuring TellMe & WM6.5.1 - Fast, Stable, Sleek. For Touch Pro.

So I gave this thing a shot after loving and using Juicy, Mighty, and most recently EnergyROM(until the latest myriad of corrupt ringer issues/etc made me give up), and I am so glad I tried this one. I have only been using it since yesterday afternoon, but I unplugged my phone at 5pm, went home, used it, forgot to charge it overnight, and now 19 hours later I am still at 78% battery. Holy. Crap.

I am going to keep testing this, but it is smooth, stable (no reboots yet, even with my programs all installed), and haven't had a complaint yet.

Two thumbs way up.

Re: EmpiROM - Featuring TellMe & WM6.5.1 - Fast, Stable, Sleek. For Touch Pro.

I have been using this rom for a week or so now. Have run into 3 issues so far. Maybe this is just me, but I have many touch pro's at my disposal and they have all had the same issues.

1) I have it setup so I can check my yahoo email. It is setup so I have to manually check for new email. Ever so often when I go to email and do send/receive I'll get the default Ema alert. When this happens the phone locks up, have to pull the battery out. It looks like when this happens it is trying to switch to a different application for some reason.

2) I haven't yet experienced battery life that is any better then the usual roms I use. In some cases it is much worse. I haven't been able to figure out what causes the massive battery drains at times. The one I did notice was TellMe. For some reason if I use TellMe it seems every use (speak and retrieval of information) my battery percentage drops somewhere between 2 and 5%, so I have stopped using it.

3) The phone randomly seems to choose between 2 different txting applications. One of which is extremely slow.

Interesting, that button is blank for me. Maybe that's why I missed it. I must have installed some cab that changed the graphic for it. It's a plain black button that looks like it has no functionality at all.

Edit: Answer found: http://fluffyphones.com/how-to-windo...ys-full-songs/ You have to go into windows media player, "now playing", menu, then turn off shuffle. Why that causes this problem... no idea! But it fixed.

This was a post from earlier. Hope this helps!

Re: EmpiROM - Featuring TellMe & WM6.5.1 - Fast, Stable, Sleek. For Touch Pro.

How does one get rid of the bottom command bar? I am using SPB Mobile Shell which is partially obscured by the bar. I do like this ROM better than the Energy Rom 2.5, though that ROM did address the issue. Nobody on that thread has addressed why, although his version 2.1 had the same problem.

Thanks in advance, and keep up the great work!
