I have tried the cab install. I guess I'll have to start w/a clean kitchen and start adding things in till I find the culprit. That's a lotta cooking!

In EXT\Baseline\rz_apps\YouTube_1_6_19161426_00 there is a app.reg with alot of settings. Might look there for a setting.

Did this start after we upgraded to 2.5.2012? Really don't see how Sense could have goofed it up.

Don't think it was 2012. I flashed to my Sense 2.1 ROM to test that theory and I have no audio in Youtube there as well.

I hope Raid doesn't mind but I been looking around in his TP2 kitchen. I realize its a different phone. I'am trying to learn from it. Looks to me RecModCommonFiles.txt list a few more files. I also think some stuff got moved from OEM to EXT. I while be trying some of this on my TP kitchen, will keep you guys posted if I screw up or if it helps.

I also don't think it his app.reg because you guys are not having this problem. I have not edited that file. I'll try removing it all together and see what happens...

I actually have no idea whether or not I have this problem =P Don't think I've used the Youtube app in like half a year...haha.

I don't think removing it is the answer. I would compare it to what you have on phone reg. to see if something got changed.

True, but this is the fastest way to rule it out, if it's not the culprit. Should it happen to be, then I will go down the list, compare and figure it out.

I'm also using a cooler looking RUU than the one RZ has in the kitchen. I at the end of a ROM build it says it can't find the RUU (I have put mine in place of his). Where/What do I need to change so the builder recongizes the new RUU instead of looking for RZ's RUU? I can still use the new RUU as the RAPHIMG.nbh file has already been made. I just have to manually open it.

I never use YouTube on my computer or phone. Seen to many people get viruses from there.
