After cooking a stock ROM and flashing, I cant seem to get past the Verizon splash screen, the latest official ROM worked fine, evrything with the kitchen appeared fine, not sure where I botched it

I have had numerous errors today with last nighs kitchen (12/21/09). The one you mentioned included. I think there may be something up with it. I don't usually have this many issues. I think I'll skip it...

I must be doing something wrong...I cant get any kitchen ROM to boot. I tried many and they wont go past the VZW flash. Just to check I reflashed the official and it worked fine.

Where am I making my mistake?

Re: [Always Updating][KITCHEN]6.5 NK-23509/28004-TF2.1/2.5 & Titanium [UC/Sashimi]

Sorry guys, been busy. My sprint rep came through for me and I do have a tp2 now. I am cooking a rom right now for TP and will flash it to my VZW tp and report back. There should not be any problems..

edit: I cannot use my tp2 yet because I made a dud rom for it last night, left it on the first boot screen (corupt kernel, so the phone did not boot) got fed up, left it like that and went to bed. I learned the hard way that the phone does not charge in that state, or in bootloader mode and now I need to wait until I get home to give it a fresh battery lol...

Re: [Always Updating][KITCHEN]6.5 NK-23509/28004-TF2.1/2.5 & Titanium [UC/Sashimi]

Tried 12-16-09 as well. Same issue, stuck on boot screen.

I anserwered...

baseline121609
28014
titanium
tried both y and n to baseline SYS and XIP
n on RZ modules (always generated an error)
Pagepool 6

It creates and flashes fine, but wont go further than the VZW splash. Suggestions? I dont want to modify the ROM I just want the fixed MUI for the camera. Otherwise id stick with the official

That is the right information to enter. I can confirm that last nights kitchen does not boot on VZW TP. I am really not sure what about 28011 made it work on the VZW TP, but that is the build that the official ROM is on...

It doesn't matter how many levels deep you have your kitchen, it's the <spaces> and special chars in the path that screw up the kitchen batch scripts. (In your case, it's the "touch pro" directory).

Happens in just about every kitchen I've ever used

Thank you so much for sharing that lil' tid bit of info. I had relocated last night's kitchen in a folder called RZ 12-21-09 (Current) and just like you said it wouldn't run because of the parenthesis and spaces I guess. I took those out and added "_" for spaces and it runs like a charm!

Thanks a million. I was getting so frustrated!
