Re: [Always Updating][KITCHEN]6.5 NK-23509/28004-TF2.1/2.5 & Titanium [UC/Sashimi]

I'm sorry, this may be a really dumb question, but when I run your kitchen and try to unpack everything, I get an error in the "Creating ROM" cmd which says:

Now repairing System Atributes
Fixed Attributes..
Copying OS.nb.payload...
The syntax of the command is incorrect.

ERROR! (errorlevel:1)
Press any key to continue . . .

I'm running Windows 7 Pro and I've disabled UAC, but I can't get it to progress past that point...

I got that error twice today w/2 different kitchen downloads I downloaded at 4:20am. I contributed it to the possibility that the kitchen wasn't fully downloaded at that time. I downloaded it agan at 8:30am and that one worked fine. I would just redownload the kitchen and try again. Probably just a bad download.

Re: [Always Updating][KITCHEN]6.5 NK-23509/28004-TF2.1/2.5 & Titanium [UC/Sashimi]

this isn't the first time this has happened. I started playing around with these kitchens on the 15th and 16th and both kitchens gave me the same error. I decided to try again on the 21st, but no dice. I'm re-downloading the 12/21 - I'm hoping your right and that it's only an incomplete/damaged download. I'd really like to get this working...

RZ says that it's also best not to have too long of a path to it, i.e. buried deep in an ext hard drive inside like 20 folders type of a thing.

Noted. Currently, the kitchen's doing its thing 5 directory levels off my C: - I'll put it on the root and see how it does.

Re: [Always Updating][KITCHEN]6.5 NK-23509/28004-TF2.1/2.5 & Titanium [UC/Sashimi]

Success!

Sharkie, you were right: I was running the kitchen a few levels too deep (c:\users\me\desktop\touch pro\kitchens\rz)

When I ran it in the root directory I didn't get the error.

Now I can see all those exciting loadscreens I'd been missing...

I appreciate the help.

Sorry, I've been trying for so long. So what did I do? I removed the HTCSense_AmarullzNoMessagingClient_1.00 that RZ has in his kitchen. I think I forgot that was there or assumed it would work and so everything I tried was skewed by that, it seems.

I removed that and put in HTC Message 1_00_281_0 (I'm not sure this has anything to do with it really) and HTC Messaging Client 1_1_19203223_00 and now I can send and receive sms from all aspects of Manila!

Sorry, I had to share. This is huge for me. It sucked staying behind while everyone else moved forward.

do you have your contacts saved with area code? i dont and my msgs dont work with manila, i think its cuz of that
