EDIT : May be a fluke but i have no data/internet hard resetting and trying again and due to crap wireless im typing this in between wireless drops.

Hard Reset fixed data/internet.... connected via internet tether....

If phone is not working, hard reset you must! Glad you all can finally see the battery icon, it was pi**ing me off cuz it wouldn't load up.

Hey, there is something I built in that you should try out! Under the Connect folder there is a program call HTC Router, it allows you to use your phone as a wireless router. Thought you might get some use out of that, and was hoping you would test it out and let me know how well it works and what it does to battery life

Glad you like my theme! The wait icon and taskbar icons are courtesy of M6Silver over at XDA.

Applications folder isn't supposed to be there, but have yet to find out what is putting it there .

In trying to keep the ROM quick (which I guess I haven't done that great of a job, compared to some other ROM's out there) I have tried to keep things slim. That being said....

New Release(s) Teaser!

I am working on multiple new releases (3-4) as time and circumstances allow. Since it is impossible to make one ROM that pleases everyone, I have decided to make a couple different version depending on what your need is. Will also be using a new name for them (Only the faithful will find out what that is, stick with me and you shall all find ROM enlightenment *end cult rant) I made a funny!

Anyway, versions will be as follows:

Stuffed Version: Will have as much stuff as I can cram in it Speed will be sacrificed, but you shouldn't have to install anything after you flash! Let me know any and all suggestions as to what should be included in this one.

Mobile/Internet Version: Will contain everything needed for web browsing, video viewing, networking, chatting etc. Anything you can think of to add to help you connect to the web (browsers, etc.) friends (facebook, Messenger, etc.), multimedia (youtube, mms) should be mentioned so I can include it.

Lite Version: Barebones, built for speed! This will have as little as possible, just the bare essentials required for operation. If you want it, you have to add it. Suggestions as to what is currently in the ROM that should be stripped out for this version is appreciated. I will also (hopefully) be using a newer technology I have found that is supposed to increase speed by quite a bit. If it works here it may find its way into my other versions.

Chaos Version: (Maybe) What good is being a cook if I can't make a ROM exactly how I want it . This is a maybe, depending on how the others turn out, and how time ends up, but this would include everything I use and usually install, so no suggestions needed

So I am off to start working, got quite a task ahead of me! Thanks for all the input so far, and thanks in advance for the comments and suggestions that will go into my new ROMs.

As stated above I will have different releases upcoming, and hope to fix some of the issues you mentioned. As for speed, still working on that, this is only my second release, so I have much left to learn

Concerning folders, I do plan on fixing those for the releases that still use them, it was my first attempt at custom folders, so I was pleased they turned out as well as they did.

As for the font, under tweaks you can use RZ multi font to change the font. I do believe future releases will have a different default font though, I think the Chaos font is freakin sweet, but it can be hard to read, especially when smaller or in bad contrast. Default theme will probably change, both to reflect the new name and to be something more simplistic. The Yin Yang theme will still be there for those who like it

I thought your 1.3 rom was fast. nfs was nice, its what i was using for a while and what my boss is using... chaos ever think of including icontact instead of the default contacts program?? so far mine is the only one with icontact, but maybe theres a reason.. lol anyway nice job again. I like it. I especially liked the BlackDragon theme but I think the top and bottom bars should change color to match the home screen, instead of that orangy brown color.I noticed also you included the day of the week on the cpr. where did you find out how to do that ? lol

KK will try out the htc router and let ya know i have noticed that the battery life is a little less in this rom then the last.

As far as the rom selections i usually chose lite due to the fact that im in perma roaming so i need all the battery life i can get

What advantages does iContact have over the default? Happen to have a link to the cab/ext/oem that I can use?

The black dragon theme is actually made by DomSim, and after selecting it after reading your post, it looks nothing like it is supposed to! I need to figure out what is casuing the pervasive occurance of orange. The orange that shows up in the default theme is supposed to be blue. Check out DomSim's thread to see what it's supposed to look like.

I hate batteries, they are such fickle things. I look forward to the day that wireless power advances far enough to make batteries history

Permaroaming sucks! Yeah, it seems like a lot of people want fast, so I'm making a stripped version that should be fast, esp if the new tech works like it says. Plan on stripping everything out to where there is nothing but a phone and some basic programs left. Anything you think should definately go, or anything you think shouldn't?

On a side note, I've wondered this since I first saw it, but what the heck is your avatar a picture of

As far as the HTC router it works however just using the internet sharing is about 11mbps faster then HTC router so im gonna stick with that for now.

As far as the avatar its a robot riding a robot pet ill change it up if i ever find my fav avatar that i misplaced hmmm... something to do search for avatar....

Eh, guess it is kinda the same as a regular wired vs wireless connection Guess I will probably take it out then, unless I hear lots of people asking for it.

Chaos i have a question for you.. how do i enlarge the mms images... IE when i get a mms picture message the pictures are itty bitty rather then full screen about the size of my pinkie.

Is there an option to make the image larger?

O_o, your asking the wrong person on that :s I don't get MMS so I know very little about it. Have you tried a magnifying glass I'll do some checking around see if I can't figure something out, and if you figure it out let me know.
