Re: JD's Clean Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM & Kitchen (ROM updated Oct.14, beta post 5)
JD the Link to the ROM in Post #2 is pointing to the OLD ROM 21859. (But with the updated Date) The link in Post #5 is correct. |

Re: JD's Clean Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM & Kitchen (ROM updated Oct.14, beta post 5)
Love the rom. This is my 2nd full day of using it. Im having one issue though. Im sure its something i installed, but every now and then when i go to turn on wifi, the wifi icon in the connection settings is gone. Sometimes in the wlan settings, it shows i have a wifi connection, but the taskbar icon still shows ev. Im thinking spb pocketplus is doing this, but have no idea why. I say that because it was the last thing i installed before i started having the problem. Can anyone maybe help me with this? Its an issue, but not a big enough one to drop the rom. Its perfect otherwise.

Re: JD's Clean Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM & Kitchen (ROM updated Oct.14, beta post 5)
I flashed the 23069 beta and had an odd issue. My work enforces security when accessing email wirelessly. When the pop-up comes up at email setup I select yes to typpe in my lock password and the system crashes. I havent had this happen on any previous 23xxx builds and I used Raidzeros 23069 rom and didnt have this issue. anyone else see this?
JD, I love your clean stock betas. |

Well I might as well abuse my TP since I ordered up my Hero. Gonna miss JD's wonderful ROMs. I would probably go back and forth between devices.
Hey JD, get a Hero (hint hint)

Re: JD's Clean Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM & Kitchen (ROM updated Oct.1)
Quote:
I was using the Oct. 1st build, but reflashed to the updated build today anyways (not the beta build - flashing that in a few minutes). I'm still getting the same problem. The way I am reproducing the bug: (all typing is done via the physical keyboard) 1) start a new text message 2) start typing in your contact's name 3) once the name appears in the htc/xt9 suggestion (white letters, horizontal black box at bottom of screen), hit enter 4) Click on the message body to move cursor 5) Type something in 6) Hit send The message tries to send it to a single digit number that appears to correspond to the the order of the list of the built-in suggestion box (not sure about this). Whatever it is, texts can't be sent to single digit numbers and thus the message send fails. Thanks for all your hard work JD. EDIT: The new beta version you posted does NOT have this issue. It does have a few other issues however. I will post those in a separate post. Thanks again. Last edited by qbunnie; 10-14-2009 at 06:10 PM. |

Re: JD's Clean Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM & Kitchen (ROM updated Oct.14, beta post 5)
Beta in post 5 does not boot for me on a vzw touch pro. Flashed to stock then the beta 2x and it's stuck at the verizon boot screen.
