And yet this forum is all about redistributing Microsoft's intellectual property. Interesting set of priorities.

I don't mean to be an a$$. I usually post over at xda-developers.com. Their rules are a bit different.

Smile Re: NightRaven - Full Alltel WM6.5 - CE OS 5.2.21812 (Build 21812.5.0.50)

First I wanted to say thanks NightRaven for making an Wm6.5 Alltel Rom.

So I installed it and everything looks good but I had an issue that the touch screen was not very responsive eg. I would try to select something with the stylus/finger and it would not select the target item. I did the screen alignment and same thing. Can someone confirm? I am not sure if it was a bad image or not. I did a hard reset and still the same. not sure.

I do like to see the stock dialer, the rA, etc without the bloatware.

I am looking forward to see any updates. I would really like to run this ROM

I have a reg fix for the touch issue.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\GWE\Touch\Filter]
"MinimumTapTime"=dword:00000001

That seemed to do the trick.

Is there any plans to make this UC? Just curious. I could always use SASHIMI. Thanks again

Version 1.9 WM6.5 CE OS 5.2.21812 (Build 21812.5.0.50)
http://rapidshare.com/files/249008966/NightRaven_-_1.9_-_RUU_SIgned.7z
Changes:
  • Fixed touch lag issue by reducing MinimumTapTime from 48ms to 1ms.
  • Fixed issue with .Net compact framework 3.5
  • Removed WelcomeCenter (Getting Started), because it does not play well with .Net Compact Framework 3.5.
  • Reduced PagePool from 32Mb to 16Mb. It's still ridiculously large!

Gotta say... awesome rom!!!! I've tried it out and nothing to complain about but one thing. When im in file explorer and trying to select items, i have to tap and hold for 3-4 seconds before it selects anything. I could just tap on anything and it would select it right there.

Other then that great job! Keep up the good work!

Sorry UC is User Customization, It allows programs to auto install from the SD card after a hard reset.

If I place CFG: \Storage\SDconfig.txt before LOCKisabled and RST: Reset. Will the lock and reset still take place after the sdconfig.txt has processed? Also what happens if there is no SDconfig.txt on the sd card, will it hang at an error, or will it just ignore it?

My thoughts exactly! But, to be fair, if you have a TP, you already own Windows, and you are just getting the update that HTC won't give you.
