just wanted to point out that after a day of using this updated rom, its working fine, smoth and the kb issue hasn't shown its ugly face.

i should also mention that i did a total of 2 hard resets after flashing. the 2nd hard reset was done upon "retrodeviant" 's suggestion when i was having the kb issue even with the updated june 22nd rom.

ok I have a weird glich on my phone. I am sure I had the battery meter showing yesterday but today I dont it has the time where the battery meter should be. when I click on the top bar to show me the page with the signal strenght and active data and battery meter it does not show the battery..... I am confused.....

Basically when I installed it everything seemed fine but when I went to put my city in TF3D restarted & did that everytime I tried to access it! Same thing with the contacts tab, it would work sometimes & sometimes it would restart TF3D!

By the way, does anybody else have the same problem I have when opening or closing the keyboard?! Everytime I open/close the keyboard the settings screen pop up!

Anyone running the latest build and pocketshield having a good experience? I saw two people claim this ROM is not playing nice with Pocketshield. TIA

ok another question, can i use this ROM for cricket like i used mightyROM?

and i didn't see a list of "features" or programs that this rom doesn't have that mighty does?

i left the phone in my room for about an hour. came back and noticed it was really hot to the touch. the battery had gone down from 90% to 50% in that hour and the keyboard issue is back the browser window keep minimizing when i slide out the kb or even if i just rotate the phone to landscape mode.

you open a program like the opera browser and then u slide out the keyboard. this causes the browser window to minimize and in some cases, the dialpad or the phone history windows shows up. viola the kb issue.

on a totally unrelated note. i have a question:

how to get custom sound alerts to show in the drop down menu for new text message sound? i put a bunch of ringtones in the "My ringtones" folder under My Documents. They show up when selecting a ringtone for incoming phone call. but not when choosing an alert for new text message. anyone know which folder is used for that?

To get sounds for the other events, you need to have the files in the windows directory. I know that .wma and .wavs work, but i'm not sure about others. The windows folder is where you need the sound files to be, though.
