Good guess. This is the same thing I saw on my phone. I *think* if you select from the bottom choices it messes up but if you select from the top box or hit enter (don't recall what I did) it works ok. I am using the finger kb most of the time.

I may be explaining it wrong but it is showing two types of auto contact suggestion. one needs to be turned off. I've had it before.

I have the whatever was set up in the ROM as default set up.. haven't changed any keyboard settings.. had a different ROM flashed for a little bit, flashing grooverom back on now.. will check and see if I can enable only ONE autocomplete, not sure where to find the settings for them though.

ok, Fingerkeyboard IS installed, but it's not selected as the default SIP.

my default is "Full QWERTY", but it's not the default QWERTY, it has the text symbols in each key which you can select with a long press.

I went into my input settings, picked finger keyboard, went to it's options.. on the first page unchecked "eng" and "predtxt" and then one of the tabs was "HTC XT9", so I went in there, one box was ticked "SMS Name suggestions".

aaand, still have the same problem....

edit: ok I FIXED it.. the problem is using FULL QWERTY as your keyboard(the one the ROM defaults to).. I went back into fingerboard options and renabled eng and predtxt.. and just actually went and switched the input method to Fingerboard.. now everything works spledidly! I left the FULL QWERTY options for autocomplete disabled.. as well.. so that may be a key part to this.

I am just glad to know that I am not crazy! For a while, I thought I was the only one....One more thing. When I try to tether, my laptop shows generic RNDIS and trys to install software..then it says it can't find it and the tethering doesn't work. Has anyone else seen this issue. It could be because I defaulted my Laptop and it went back to a very (very) old version of XP.

Tried the custom Ultralite/grooveROM 5 WM 6.5 dialer and I do not get the answer screen that is provided on the screen shot on page 1?? When the phone rings I just get the msg pop box w/ name of caller and phone number!?
