I got a problem when I tried a few recent ROM. the problem I mentioned was included verion 21916 and 21681.
When I had situation that battary indicates lower than 8% or 5%, I found the signal icon show a tower with disable icon. My phone won't ring for incoming call after that. the home button will be blinking when income call but WON'T ring. the problem still remains even though I hard and soft reset my phone. It's really bother me because I end with refresh the ROM if I accidently forgot to charge on time.

Any comments will be appreciated.

i was using aug12 rom for awhile because all the newer roms keyboard didnt work but i soft reset it this time and the keyboard started to worked and havent had any problem since with it, i dont think i even soft reset any of the roms i tried before when the keyboard didnt work. the soft reset might have been only thing needed to get the keyboard to work.

Seems like the issue is only if I click on the "Start" text instead of the little blue Windows start ball. Can anyone else confirm this behavior with the QuickMenu / Compact Start Menu option? Anybody know a way to expand that activation area?

Your phone does this by design, it's shutting off the radio in an attempt to save what little battery you have left. Making or receiving a call with 5% battery will drain it so fast it's not even worth trying. I vaguely recall seeing a setting / tweak / hack to disable this behavior, but you'll have to find or google it yourself. Might be in one of those tweak apps in the Tools folder.

im using one of the the newest roms the build is supposed to be newer than 21916 right? Energy.HERMAN.21681.Sense2.5.DinikGlass.Cookie.2.0 .0.Oct.09

damn that rom get the phone hot and battery performance is sucks.. it is a fast rom and even faster when using overclocking.

it still works for me so im going to keep using it i dont talk alot on it just mostly text, so im not too worried about the battery drain, its usually at 20% when i get off work at 12am so it gets charged then anyway.

I understand it might be a feature for a phone to save energy when battery is too low. But, after I got full charge, It still shows disable status. It remains disable even I soft reset or hard reset. I think it doesn't make any sense. Beside, I wasn't able to find how to turn that enable.
Anyway, I will keeping trying. If you have any idea or steps, I will appreciate.

I kinda watch after my wife's TouchPro on a March Energy ROM. She is having progressively worse battery issues. She is close to either buying a new battery or a new phone. I suggested just loading up to a bit newer ROM and see if 'things' are a bit cleaner with a newer ROM. However, from what I've been reading, going to a Cookie v2 ROM won't be good if you're concerned about battery life. I was wondering if someone had a Cookie 1.85 (either version, just not GTX) that I could get ahold of, the newer the better, I think.

The Oct 8-9 ROMs are so good, I'd recommend downloading just a plain Sense 2.5 version & installing CHT & editor yourself. Just be sure to back up your settings on the old CHT ROM & then import them into the new CHT install.

Somebody plz help me....... I have the gimped TP from verizon. currently I am running 6.5|21916 which is awesome very smooth and i still have available ram roughly 20mb after a reboot. The problem is I would really like to run the 6.5.X|21681 version. For whatever the reason the 6.5.X|21681 gets stuck on the splash screen no matter if i use the 21681 or 21680 i page pooled both as low as 6...... any suggestions

I want to thank NRG for the great ROMs. I have moved to a BB Torch and will be updating the 'ol Touch Pro for my kids to use the media players and games.
