I assume you all have the same issues here. (Stock and Twitter not sized for VGA and the photo issue that was in the post I am quoting.

Programatix (the VGA porter on XDA of 2016) did not port 2016 Twitter or 2016 Stock so earlier packages needed to be used, but were not.

The photo issue is because the Cookie mod replaces a 2016 file.

The cab contains the file that the Cookie mod over wrote, along with older VGA posrted version of Stock and Twitter.

I've attached it to this post.
Hi John, Thanks for comming over from XDA to share your fix. I'm sure a lot of us will be thanking your for it.

Definitely appreciate your work here. You got some good roms, and even aside from teh bugs, they are still better than a lot Ive used so far. I hope you stay with us man. Its not easy finding good roms for older phones anymore. Keep up the great work.

Historically, when we get updated it's several days after Raphael. Personally, I think that's great, the GSM folks serve as our beta testers. NRG tweeted last week his intention to upload new ROMs including Herman. If he had to skip a Herman release, I'm sure it's for a good reason. I know NRG has been busy squashing bugs in all the latest & greatest stuff & I'm sure we'll get a new release when one is ready.

Yup. Don't want to rush anyone. Eagerly awaiting the new ROM. Energy- if you happen to be on this thread, we'd love to hear an update from you.

Do most people get there fixes by also being members at XDA?

I'm just curious, because all flavors of the 2.5 ROM should have issues on the stock and twitter pages. But the cab I posted has only been downloaded 17 times.

Or are there just that few CDMA Touch pro users?
I saw a post from NRGZ28 indicating that might be the case.

If most are getting there fixes from xda, then I probably don't need to post them here also.

Side note: There is a program tab modification available by Kimi_Sae_Ireba at XDA. It works fine with Sense 2.5.2016 and the Cookie Home. I also have made a modification to it which gives it 4 columns.

Another side note: My first post in this thread was regarding the Weather City Editor that I created. I have updated it multiple times since then. Last update was March 15th, 2010. There is a link in my signature for that.

Hey John, Thats a good question. I'm afraid that the TP numbers are really dwindling over here. I'm a member at XDA too, but don't go over there very often, at least not yet. Either we need to find some cdma touch pro users to bring the life back or it's time to find a new phone. I've been keeing an eye on the number of DLs for your fix but with so few dl's I hope it's not a good indication of how many people are left here.

At least in my case, I don't use twitter, and the problems on the stock page don't really bother me enough to deal with another download.

Plus, there seems to be a hint that another Herman drop will be coming, so don't want to invest a lot of time on working around the current one's problems.

I know there will eventually be a final drop, but I do keep enjoying the new goodies as they come!

Oh, and yes, I am a member on XDA, just don't follow it regularly as of right now.

I use the TP CDMA EnergyROM. I do not have as much time as I would like to tinker with it, so I generally opt for 1 ROM a month. And I keep it as close to "stock" as possible; that is, I generally do not install additional packages or uninstall what's cooked into the ROM. Yeah, yeah, pretty boring.

Using dinik/glass at the moment. Looking forward to a new MaxSense to try that one out! Trying out XDANDROID in the meantime, which looks pretty solid, but has severe battery issues and no camera. So NRG is going to continue to be my primary (90%+) ROM.

Thanks for the great work and keep it up!

I am also an XDA member, if the fixes for a rom are just a few and simple I use them, If the rom is jacked up I revert to the previous version. I am eagerly awaiting the next round of updates from NRG
