Thanks, but I already have modded my cpr files and moved them to \Windows. I don't think that NRG's default WM lockscreen uses cpr files as my modded ones should work. I wonder what effect Daniel Herrero's LockDevice has on this. I tried Daniel's thread at xda without luck.

I flashed a friend of mines Sprint Touch Pro with Energy.HERMAN.21903.Sense2.5.Cookie.May.09. It seems to work for a little while, then it eventually locks up. When he reboots it, it seems to freeze at the Touch Pro flash screen. When the OS actually loaded after the initial flash, he could not add email accounts, couldnt download QuickGPS updates, among other problems. I forced it into Boot Loader mode and flashed it again, and this morning it is frozen at the Touch Pro boot screen again. I've flashed my GSM touch pro (with gsm energyrom) at least 50 times and never had problems whatsoever. Any suggestions for my friend?

Edit: He is using the stock radio 1.03.15F

i would suggest doing the flash dance. first off, flash back to a stock shipped rom. then reflash your preferred custom rom. this will help clear out any old stuff from the previous rom config & get you running like you should be.

i suggest quit telling people to use other roms. twice in 2 back to back posts is simply disrespectful to NRG & everyone else in here who would like to see real answers. also there is a multi-quote button right next to the quote button. seems as tho you are trying to "up" your post count by posting crap advice that nobody wants to hear. just my $0.02

Thanks everyone for the advice, but I figured out how to mod the default windows lockscreeen. There is a folder \Windsows\Lockscreen where the cpr files belong. This should have been apparent to me as the folder name is LockScreen after all.
