I'm wondering the same thing. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I am recommisioning my TP1 for my wife and I think Sense 2.1 would work better for her. I've been looking around for a good 2.1 ROM but it seems everyone has gone to 2.5 for the TP1.

My wife is currently running the feb. 16th sense 2.1 build and it seems to be very stable. But after flashing the newest 2.5 build (without max manilla) and doing a few bug fixes, i have to admit that it feels almost as stable as the 2.1 builds. Give it a try. She won't be disappointed.

The 2.5 build looks nice, but one of the things she wants is the call history on the home screen. She tends to miss calls and likes the call history on the screen. I tried the version with MaxManila(23541) and put the call history on the screen. Everything seemed to work ok, EXCEPT arkswitch. Pressing the upper left would not trigger arkswitch. I tried moving the activation area around and even tried installing 1.11 overtop just to see but it was next to impossible to trigger it. I may give the 21xxx version a try tonight, but I also need to remember how to swap out the left bottomsoftkey from Action to Phone.

well in the 2.5 build, all you have to do is tap the icons in the taskbar and the notification manager will come up showing how many missed calls you have

i noticed that someone posted this a couple pages back but no one answered.. so how do you fix the start screen, tools screen, etc... when you move it it just blurs and makes it unreadable?

Use the battery driver cab that i posted at the top of this page. If you previously used the one posted by RyanMayo, you will have to hard reset and then use the one i posted. Seems to be a hit or miss for these. For some people his is working fine, for others it's not.

Seems like max manilla is primarily for wvga resolution, so there are some issues when you use it on our vga resolution phones. I personally prefer the 2.5 build without max manilla. So far it's running great.

Just found this over on XDA posted by fmedrano1977. It is a cab file to disable the htc contact picker for those of us using sense 2.5 that can't see the contacts list when creating a new message. I believe someone posted the registry edits earlier to do the same thing. But a cab is easier for those not comfortable with doing regedits.
