I had similar problems, stopped mobile sync with two Windows 7 x64 no matter what rom, look for a Microsoft Windows Mobile Remote Adapter under device manager / network adapters - if it's their and your phone's not plugged in - remove it. Otherwise, I had to plug in the phone, go to device manager / network adapters and remove the Microsoft Windows Mobile Remote Adapter. Then plug the phone back it and it will re-install the drivers. Yeah i'm gonna give it a shot. Should I upgrade to 28014? Some people here have said it's buggy compared to 28011. I'm using the standard version, no 2.5, no dusk, no max.

ok i just flashdanced TWICE and i'm getting the exact same issue -- phone refuses to ring or receive texts until i make a call. Texts arrive as i'm on a live call but otherwise don't come through. And incoming calls don't arrive at all. I first started to get this on 28011 but i flash danced twice to 28014 and i'm still getting this. I'm about to flash back to stock to see what's going on. I'm using the same radio (1.11.00F R) Any ideas?

Edit: Ok i'm a dumbass. I had set phone options to EVDO only. Apparently that makes your phone unable to receive calls. Bah. Do phone options persist across ROM flashes? Because i set that way before doing all these recent flashes. Maybe it modifies the actual settings in the radio?

Just did a Sense 2.1 on 28011 myself and it really is SUPER fast.
NRG's should be the BOMB!

I hate 28014 as it is a battery hog and a memory hog as well.
28011 all the way.

I actually sent a tweet to NRG about making a Sense 2.1 with 28011, because of the battery life.
I guess he took it in, haha.
