I don't know enough to explain exactly what it does. I know you can usually find it in the rar file you get when you download a major ROM like NRGZ. In the file that has the RUU and a bunch of other stuff there's one that usually says PagePoolChanger. Open it up hit select and find the RAPHIMG.nbh or RUU.signed.nbh (same thing, different ROMs will call them one or the other usually) you want to change. This is the actual ROM file. Once you find it it Open. Then just select the number you want from Whole Part line of Page Pool Size. When you're done hit close and you're good to go!

Here's one if you can't find it. I don't usually download these ROMs so I'm not too familiar with their content.

I had changed PP to 0 MB on a 2350x build (EnergyROM), the phone freeze often(still dont sure if because the PP setting), but I never tried again.

Do NOT use pagepool changer programs on NRG roms. It doesnt change the PP at all. You must Hex Edit the .nbh file to change the PP. I posted a walkthru somewhere in this thread recently. Here is the link http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...ostcount=20363

While I don't know exactly how it works, I know that a higher page pool gives you significantly more speed and fluidity in manila, but battery life decreases depending on how high you go. I imagine a ROM running on a "0" page pool would be extremely sluggish.

some guys said 0 page pool just set it to a dynamic value, max to whole RAM size. but I DO NOT have any experience for 0-PP-ROM...(tried once...)

0 it will be never the rom dynamic
