Couple of Questions:

Running 21877 w/ 2.5.

My WinMo SMS Threading is screwy. Still have GSM or CDMA tags on the end of everything, and they are not threaded at all, just single items. Any ideas why? (SMS threading is enabled)

Also, my Email Inbox started acting strange. Before in 28004 and now in 21877, if an email was unread on the phone, and I opened up outlook on the PC, outlook would download all the emails, and the next time the phone sends/receives, all the emails that were downloaded on the PC were marked read on the phone. Can I get this back? Wouldnt be such a deal if Mark All as Read worked and didnt bring up ArcSoft settings, although I never remember mark all as read working ever.

Other than that, MMS, ringers, GPS and everything else work. If anyone can help with the above, that would be super. Thanks.

You will need to go into the registry.
1.Download any program Resco Explorer/Memaid etc.
2.Find the NOTIFICATIONS menu (or Notified Programs).
3.Find <repllog.exe> it will have several types listed. Find the one that says<AppRunAfterTimeChange>
4.Highlight this prompt.
5.You will need to Disable/Delete this. The only time Activesync should start now is when you sync to your PC.

I did before I flashed the install was unsuccessful but still kinda worked. I will wait for it to be cooked it, I think that's going to be the next big thing.

Just to throw this out, I'm using a combo of things to get 12 tabs and background for all. This combo is working perfect, you have to change the background through the settings tab. Using the home tab wont work.

First I copy the files from this thread to the windows folder. I have Sashimi do it during install. This gives you the 12 tabs on the home screen.

Well - another ones bites the dust. I just had my 1yr old touch pro replaced with the TP2. Really nice! I have run NRG from the very first ROM and read this thread almost everyday. Don't post much and probably didn't help that many people, but everyone sure helped me. Special thanks to Root and Winmo for being so active and helpfull. This thread remained a great community. Soooo off to the TP2 threads. I already unlocked and flashed a NRG Rom. You can really tell the builds were meant to run on the TP2. Hope to see you guys over there soon.
