did the flash dance, no dice. It's starting to look like the hardware is failing, but I installed gyrator 2 and it shows the correct direction of the phone at all times. If I set the phone down flat, screen up, randomly it will switch between portrait and landscape, while gyrator2 says "face_up"

is there not a way to completely disable to gsensor? reg key or something?

Also, I bought the phone from a coworker used a few months ago, I don't think I can take it in on warranty or anything, can I? He purchased the phone October 08

You will still get email addresses in the To: section but you will now see your contacts after hitting Add Recipient

What's everyone's experience been w/ 2.5 versus the earlier version? More stable? Any different features that you really don't like?

I ASSUME this means he hasnt cooked 28008 2.5 manila yet, but I could be wrong.

To answer your first question-I LOVE 2.5!! No issues for me, I'm one of the lucky ones to be able to SMS without a problem and MMS with little bit of workaround. I've been using 2.5 everyday since the first Energy build with it came out.

Yeah, i just saw the 28008 Dec.2 posted, which no doubt will be my new default, but am still waiting to try the M2.5 to see how things are going. More and more we're steering away from the "Not for everyday use" as newer version's come out. The 28006 was a lot faster and better then earlier versions, granted the MMS was quirky for me. And after 2 days the whole rom somehow got corrupted, and no links worked anymore in my favorite's links on home tab, and adding any only showed 4 total in the list. Reinstalling wouldn't help either, since most were all the ones cooked in to the ROM. And a hard reset just froze it indefinitely at the 'TOUCH PRO' screen with red text into at the bottom. Never had that happen before, but it did nevertheless.
But that's beyond the normal to have happened. Still looking forward to trying 28008 M2.5 and see how it runs, and MMS.
